HBO's "Game of Thrones"

My favorite TV night of the week, Game of Thrones and Rick and Morty. Can't wait

Since "How I Met Your Mother" wrapped up and Charlie left "Two and a Half Men", Game of Thrones is pretty much the only show I watch... With only a few episodes left, this has the excitement of a UT game night to me (without the drunkenness).

This episode was basically a plot set up for next weeks episode. Also Littlefinger is putting all his chips on the table by attempting to turn Arya and Sansa against each other.

Things are really moving at a rapid pace now with virtually no time allowed for traveling the high seas - characters might as well just be teleporting like Star Trek at this point. It was a night for returns and reunions... Gendry, The Hound, Jorah reunites with Dany and Tyrion meets with Jaime (which was far too brief). I think too many scenes were cut short and it left me wanting more but a few things which I liked were 1) Drogon seems to sense that Jon is a Targaryen (and in turn, that has Dany's attention) 2) Arya is suspicious of Sansa's ambitions and suspects she will betray Jon - LF is just a scheming POS - what did that note say? 3) It felt like a setup episode with some White Walker showdown next week.

All in all, I wish these episodes were longer and fleshed out more of the character to character interaction. I really wanted to see more between Tyrion and Jaime in particular... Jeez, didn't they have a lot to talk about?!?!

I paused on the note. It looked like it was the message Cersei made Sansa send to Winterfell telling them to bend the knee to Joffrey.

The scroll is the one that Sansa was forced to write to Robb, asking him to bend the knee to Joffrey.

That Rhaegar's marriage to Elia Martell was annulled and he was married in secret to Lyanna Stark. Making Jon Snow the true heir to the Iron Throne.

Thanks. I turned to my wife and said that was important but I have no idea what was said lol

Interesting. I didn't catch that.

Go back and listen to her read. She says " The High Septon annulled the marriage of Prince Rhaegar and wed him in secret too........" There is only one person he could have been wed in secret to. I expect a flashback from Bran to the Tourny at Harranhal.

I agree. The show should last two more seasons instead of one with all of the content being covered. The accountants at HBO are really doing the show a disservice by cutting it off like that. Sure, the show is expensive but also makes HBO a lot of money.

Wait, what? I thought that was the single biggest thing that happened in this episode.

If you don't keep up with theories and all you know is what you've watched, it's an easy tidbit to miss, especially how they glossed over it and put the focus of the scene on the steps.

Also episode 6 is always the peak of the season on Game of Thrones. That means there will be a battle, and character with side story lines will die with at least one main character dying
