HBO's "Game of Thrones"

IDG why people are mad about going this direction with Dorne. Do you think it's more interesting if there is peace between Dorne and Lannisters?

No I just think its bad strategy for Dorne to go to war with the 2 most powerful houses in the Kingdom.

Dorne combined with the north(led by Snow) and the entire East(led by Daenerys) going against the Lannisters isn't lopsided against Dorne. IMO.

Of course they all have a bigger issue that they aren't even thinking about.

What are all the rules for white walkers? How does somebody come back to life as a white walker? Is it magic in the region? Is it if you get killed by white walkers? I can't remember this detail.

North of the Wall, Craster was sacrificing his newborn sons to the White Walkers, and then later we saw the WW leader (The Night's King) convert a baby into a White Walker. That's about the extent of the explanation we have for how they're created in either book or show. They can also raise the dead as wights, which make up the bulk of their fighting force.

Hopefully we learn more this season. Maybe through Bran.

Good explanation. White Walkers are the Generals so to speak, and the Wights are their foot-soldiers. Wights can be killed by fire, but White Walkers can apparently only be killed by Dragonglass and Valaryian steel.

So maybe their numbers were thin for centuries until Craster started giving them some replacements? Could explain why the wildlings were living up their okay until recently?

I was thinking what happens if they take Snow's body north of the wall? Has a Targeryen ever died north of the wall? What happens?

To think craster was the reason for the demise of the world

Dude, put the damn spoiler tag on **** like this. Some people do not want to see and have purposely avoided these pictures for a fing reason.

Lol b&$%#ing about spoilers still. There is no such thing as a spoiler right now. If you think conjecture and opinion is a spoiler, then you need to avoid the thread.

Avoiding pictures like this? This doesn't MEAN anything. And most people think Snow is coming back anyways.

I guess that depends on whether they have finite lifespans. If they do, it would probably be necessary for them to make arrangements like that to reinforce their numbers. After being dormant for years, whatever stirred them now must be pretty important.

IT DOES NOT MATTER. Talk all you want about the first episode. No one here give a $hit. But posting pictures from the set is something I have intentionally avoided, as I am sure others have as well. I don't think that is unreasonable.

I think he is resurrected because of these pictures from the set. Jon Snow never wore the clothing a Stark.

it pisses me off that people always have to stick their noses into **** that's supposed to be kept secret, and post it all over the web for all to see. completely ruins the fun and surprise. (not directed at you by the way. only towards the asshat who took that pic and/or posted it online)

also, i'd probably spoiler tag that if you're gonna post it in here. i mean we don't know for sure if that actually gives away anything, but i'd say it most likely does. i can't speak for everybody, but had I not already seen that photo before you posted it in here, i would have been pretty annoyed.

I think it would be badass if there was an entire civilization of them in the North (ala an icy King's Landing, maybe just a bit smaller, but same premise).

Plus it takes all of 5 seconds to add the spoiler tag.

My bad guys. I thought everyone had seen that picture since it has been all over the internet for months and all over tv. I apologize.

How about when one is raped and murdered? He still did nothing. He needed to be relieved.

In the books Doran has a plan.
A really solid plan to take down the Lannister family completely and totally. Dorne can't win a head to head fight against the crown. Dorne is like Montana big land mass small population. They don't have the army or the wealth to fight the Lannisters and Tyrells head up. So he and Oberyn had been laying plans for years to take down Tywin. All of Dorne would have followed either Martell brother into war. I seriously doubt Ellaria or the Sand Snakes will be able to pull that of.

Dany won't be siding with the North. Hates the Starks. It will be more of a triple threat match than a handicap. Also Dorne and the North are 2 of the poorest and least populated of the 7 kingdoms

Not if Snow is leading them. I believe the fan theory. Snow would have a connection to Dany that the other Starks don't.

Also Doran never left. His plan was all talk. He needed to go.
