Has JG made a post game comment?

Remember Erik Ainge? I know it is unlikely, but......I'm Just sayin;.
His shot at being Ainge was this year. Ainge was a true Jr who had played really well as a Fr then had his confidence destroyed as a Soph. JG really hasn't ever played winning football.

He needs to own up to messing up and basically defend Pruitt on the sidelines. I don't think he gets back in but we may need him. He says anything sideways, he's done here and may not be taken anywhere else. JMO

Why does JG need to make a statement? Please just stop with the gratuitous JG bashing. We know he is not a good QB and I've said at much myself but the lynch mob attacks with multiple new threads are unnecessary. I might beg Freak to merge them all into one of this doesn't go to page 2 real soon.

actually if you saw the broadcast last night, he went around and apologized to all his teammates on the sideline for the bobble int
Sigh Im gonna have to start a thread just to explain what Im trying to say lol
As my other posts have said, if JG doesnt apologize or take responsibility for throwing away their last chance then Jennings has every right to chew him out over THAT.
If Jennings were to chew him out simply because he messed up, he would be acting hypocritical in THIS instance because he didnt play his best game either.
Thats ALL I was getting at.

I will say that regardless of anything I don’t think Pruitt will allow JG to apologize and fall on the sword. From everything I’ve heard and the way his players obviously love him it’s because he truly cares about these kids including Jg and won’t lay them out there to get scorched. Pretty damn admirable if you were a player and watched your coach defend you while getting raked over coals for something that wasn’t his fault. That’s why this team continues to improve because no matter the ass chewings or standard that’s been set that they’re still adjusting too they know that at the end of the day they have a coach that really cares and will defend them sometimes to a fault.

I think there's a pretty basic disconnect between your point of view and pretty much everyone else's.

You see Jarrett as just simply making a mistake on that play. The kind of mistake that is the equivalent of dropping a pass or jumping offside.

Pretty much no one else sees it that way. And that's not because we don't see what you're saying, it's because we believe it's wrong.

How is it not equivalent? Did JG throw a punch? Unnecessary roughness? Taunting? Or was he trying to help win the game and made a judgment call that was a really poor decision?
I'll say it one more time then I'll leave this thread alone.
If JG apologizes to the team for his screwup, Jennings should not chew him out. He should say "hey man that was really a dumb decision but hey I made some crucial mistakes in the game myself. We forgive you and lets move on."
If JG doesnt take responsibility and apologize to the team then everyone has a right to call him out. The boy has given his all and was a great supporter of Maurer replacing him. He made a really bad decision. If he takes the blame and apologizes to the team I would HOPE Jennings and the others show him grace. I know I would want it after that.

He threw away any chance we had to win. And we DID have a chance to win. Score there, and we're one score away with a backup QB for the other team under tremendous pressure to advance the ball.

That is sound advice and normally I would agree but the magnitude of this mistake is off the mistake chart. Chart doesn't go high enough. The team fought thru 14 plays against a tough defense on the road and BAM they are right back on the field in their own territory 7 points further down than when they started. Demoralizing. I don't see how you could expect the team to fight like that again with him taking snaps. Maybe then can, hard to say.

Trying to find a positive in all this....
Maybe the team solidifies in their unity against having JG ever take another snap with them and use it as a team building process...
