It was always going to be Bailey at some point. Unless he just falls flat on his face and performs awful he's the face of the program going forward and I think that was the plan all along. Covid pushed the timing back but it was going to happen. If he's lucky enough to get 4 games under his belt, maybe win a couple, god forbid 4 in a row then I think we'll be good at the QB position going into next season with a clear cut QB1.I have to hand it to ya. Your not afraid to stick your neck out. Maybe your our very own vols FF insider. We will know soon.
On what basis of comparison would we know the difference?Pruitt has said that one QB has been out due to contact tracing and some media believe that QB is Guarantano. If that's the case, then he hasn't been able to practice at all since the Auburn game...so all game planning has been with Bailey, Maurer, and Shrout. The coaches don't seem to trust Shrout to keep the offense from getting multiple delay of game penalties, let alone avoid throwing it to the other team, so he's likely not going to play. They've also seemed hesitant to play Maurer much this season and gave him a quick hook for Bailey when he stunk it up against Arkansas. It's highly likely that Bailey has been the second team guy for at least the last few weeks. Add to that the comments from Palmer (tweeted by Trey Wallace...not Palmer) and you've got good reason to believe it's Bailey's offense on Saturday unless he's completely ineffective.
I would simply warn that Florida's defense is ranked #1 in the SEC: 2020 Team Statistics
The good news is if Bailey is effective at all he will be doing it against a very good defense. The one thing I am hoping to see is a quick release. JG holds on to the ball too long. With Florida leading the SEC in sacks Bailey better get rid of it quickly.
The interceptions scare me the most, they've got 8 already. A good running game will be Bailey's best friend Saturday.I would simply warn that Florida's defense is ranked #1 in the SEC: 2020 Team Statistics

Hearing some girl gave JG Covid19 crotch rot. HB sent her over apparently in an attempted coup.Am I missing something? Why does everyone seem to think he’s starting Saturday? I’ve heard rumors about JG not playing anymore and etc. but was something released that I missed? Just looking for clarification
