No history of anyone other than Spurrier of running up the score in this rivalry. I don't think they'll run the score up on purpose to try and show us up, Mullen has never been that type of a$$hat. They may win big but it won't be because they are trying to show us up.For people over 40 there is a lot of bad blood between the programs. Believe it or not at one time the FL/TN game was one of the biggest games of the year.
I just wanted to point out that CJP has shown a “quick hook” for anyone not named JG for the last two years. It’s kinda what’s given him his reputation to this point. Also I think it’s a ridiculous expectation to think Maurer should’ve looked better than he did vs Arkansas. What if Bailey was #2 and he went in when Maurer did? At the time of JGs exit, the play calling was 35 runs to just 5 passes and the game was into the third quarter. Do you think Bailey would’ve been better than Maurer facing a 0 blitz and no game plan to pass at all?Pruitt has said that one QB has been out due to contact tracing and some media believe that QB is Guarantano. If that's the case, then he hasn't been able to practice at all since the Auburn game...so all game planning has been with Bailey, Maurer, and Shrout. The coaches don't seem to trust Shrout to keep the offense from getting multiple delay of game penalties, let alone avoid throwing it to the other team, so he's likely not going to play. They've also seemed hesitant to play Maurer much this season and gave him a quick hook for Bailey when he stunk it up against Arkansas. It's highly likely that Bailey has been the second team guy for at least the last few weeks. Add to that the comments from Palmer (tweeted by Trey Wallace...not Palmer) and you've got good reason to believe it's Bailey's offense on Saturday unless he's completely ineffective.

He also failed to send a man in motion on the interception and then threw the ill advised pass. He waited a year for a 2nd opportunity and blew it. I was pro JT since last year and was very disappointed. That makes zero sense. How in the world does Shrout not at least know how to get a snap off in time? If you have a QB that isn’t capable of handling the simple things like that then they don’t need to be a QB on the team.
You're letting your bias get in the way now. Auburn blitzed Bailey multiple times. He did pretty well against most of them, including stepping up in the pocket and completing passes.I just wanted to point out that CJP has shown a “quick hook” for anyone not named JG for the last two years. All I’m saying is Bailey hasn’t been put in a game where he’s not facing some type of prevent defense.
Never said he didn’t. I’m just saying that Maurer did the same on a regular basis last year and there’s no time left to prepare them both THIS year. You're letting your bias get in the way now.
