That was the 1963 season. Jim McDonald put those unis on our kids,and was promptly fired. haha We don't want to remember the 1963 season with throwbacks, trust me.

The SC game was fun that night. It is rare to see TD receptions by two different fullbacks in a game.

Does anybody know how many times we have played each other on the Saturday before Halloween? Seems like usually if not always. (I could be wrong)

Our schedule gets changed around a lot, but the UT/SCar game seems (in my memory) to have remained pretty constant this past quarter decade.

I hope you meant "blue font". Surly you don't think a football team is a democracy. Or for that matter a focus group or oversight group. They don't work, just look at the oversight group Metro Nashville has set up. A CAN OF WORMS!!! The more I write the more I feel you were "blue fonting".

To be honest, I don't think a football team is a democracy, and should not be; however, based on so many posts regards the unis for the BAMA game, some of our posters believe the uni is one of the deciding factors in winning. In fact, they believe these young men respond to the color combo, and overall appearance to their eyes- as to which uniform is "best", and their play is effected accordingly. IF, this is actually the case, then the old way of running a team may be outdated, at the very least we should hire a fashion consultant-big salary, to be sure, we always have just the right outfit, for each and every game....just saying. BTW, maybe a hair stylist to give each player that special look....

I tried to find one for my nephew for Christmas that year. They were sold out. Hate them all some will, but they were and if they wore them again, would still sell well. How many copies of what they are wearing now do you see on peoples backs nowadays? One of many reasons why I never wanted Fulmer in charge.
