Halloween Thread

How do you guys think covid will affect the number of trick or treaters? I had a little over 250 last year. I was expecting about 300 this year before the virus but not so sure now. I bought 1,000 pieces of candy so I could give each kid 3. We may end up eating a lot of it now. I built a fun covid barrier to keep kids at a distance and still be able to get their candy. I will sit the barrier on the sidewalk at the bottom of my porch steps. I have a black pvc pipe that will run thru the ghost's mouth and slope up to my porch. The kids can put their candy bags under the ghosts mouth and the candy will slide in. Hopefully it will make their parents feel more at ease and also keep the wife and I 6 feet away.

2300 trick or treaters last year. One piece of candy each (not made of money)

Not doing trick or treat this year. ☹️

In the entire time we have been married, I bet we haven't had more than 100 total. We've just never lived where there were a lot of young kids.

Wtf...2300???????? Turn off the porch light!!! JMO, IMHO, TIFWIW, FYI
Most of us are doing this this year, because of COVID.

Otherwise, we close off 6 blocks with police and fire presence and do it up right. It’s sort of our Mardi Gras.

Last year on our corner, when it was still daylight, in other words, slow:
