We had kids knocking on the door, Tiffany was gone to get my daughter, so I ignored them😂.

*i was actually in the shower and heard cocoa barking, then heard a knock. I assume it was trick or treaters.

We unplugged the porch lights, closed the curtains in the front rooms, and did Halloween in the back yard with daughter, son-in-law, and three-year-old grandson.

In a move that is certain to result in future religious confusion, I hid orange jackolantern treat bags with vegan candy (for his food allergies) in the garden and we had a fall Easter egg hunt.

Hot dogs over the fire pit with potato salad followed by s’mores, Sierra Nevada Celebration IPA (yuck) for the other three adults, lots of fun and chatter, and a family event, a fun change I have to admit.
