My minors, no. Your minors, that's up to you.
I was driving, carried a gun in my truck (hunting season mostly) when I was a minor all with my parents consent. I drank and tried cigarettes as a minor without consent of course. I didn't need the .gov telling me what I could let my kids do or not do to raise them.
Currently minors cannot purchase a firearm. You OK with that or would you like to see that changed?
There's no parental consent (for carrying) required as I understand it in Missouri
I would like to see that changed. There wasn't kids shooting up schools when minors could purchase firearms legally as late as the 1980's. When are you going to realize the problem isn't access to guns, the problem is with the people. Why have people become so murderous, that's the problem we need to find an answer to and fix.
OK, we come at this from completely different points of view. I think your ideas are dangerous and would lead to chaos. We just disagree
When were minors able to legally buy firearms?
A couple of biggies...........But why do we have so many dangerous people now compared to 40 years ago? What has changed and why aren't you concentrating on that instead of more restrictions?
A couple of biggies...........
1) We have added 106 million people since 1980 - a 47% increase in population, mostly urban.
2) Something called the digital world.
And I'm concentrating on both of those, as well as other issues that are intertwined, like the insanity of the US gun culture.
