Another friggin' lawyer! The last time I checked swimming pools weren't a danger to my family or children unless I chose to take them to the pool. There is a legal term for that, it is called "assumption of the risk". The difference between swimming pools and guns is that I assume the risk if I choose to take myself or family to the pool, but I have no choice if I am in public and some gun nut decides to open fire thinking he is "defending" himself.
If we still had slavery, the Mexicans wouldn't be quite so anxious to crash the party.I get really tired of the argument that we shouldn't try to do anything to address the issue because it won't matter. Good thing you people weren't the ones trying to end slavery or get women or minorities the right to vote.
Has our economy been flourishing the last 7 years?
You and I have entirely different definitions of what freedom is, buddy. I consider freedom the ability for myself and my family to walk around in public without the fear that a private citizen, who thinks he is Rambo, will be "defending himself" and start shooting.
