AgainWhat this really illustrates is the absolute stupidity these legislative morons get twisted up in and how little they are founded in firearms knowledge and common sense. I’d guess these earth shattering modifications took all of 5 minutes to implement.
Actually it highlights the continued complete stupidity levied on the majority of law abiding citizens with regards to firearm features while knowing that any potential killer or other violent criminal will simply ignore them.It always cracks me up when someone uses the "so criminals do not follow laws?" schtick as if it makes a point.
I think it is common knowledge that criminals do not follow all laws.....some, but not all.
I would go out on a limb and say that none of us follow all laws.......most, but not all.
It's beyond ridiculous to think those facts negate the necessity and benefits of laws.
By placing a flag that will show up during a background check that says they are currently unable to purchase a gun. There are millions upon millions of 30 round magazines out there on the street now, it would take 10 minutes to get one. Not to mention it takes about 1 minute for anyone to take the plug out of a legal one.
If the juvenile records are sealed how are they going to be used to block someone from purchasing?

If there are currently 10 million 30 round magazines in circulation, so be it. In one year, I doubt the number will still be exactly the same. That number decreasing over time is preferable to it continually increasing.
Stop making magazines that have a plug that can be removed that allows increasing the capacity.
It will probably go up as it will create a black market to 3D print hi cap magazines.By placing a flag that will show up during a background check that says they are currently unable to purchase a gun.

Luther is correct on the reasonable and rational approach to gun legislation. Us idiots are slowly coming around - it takes some more time that others. After all, there was that last guy in every group who still argued the Earth was flat. I'm going to try to stop being that guy.
How many VN bucks do you want to bet?Good luck!!
The changing of someone's actual post is a pretty stupid game. People should understand that it shouldn't be done, but obviously that is not the case for all. Freak will eventually be forced to make it either ban worthy or make changes that remove the capability altogether.
Kind of fits in with the discussion if you think about it.
