Just because you're beating us doesn't mean that our future is dire. And, just because you think Young is a bad player doesn't mean he is a bad player. He didn't play well in either game against Tennessee, but he was pretty damn good against Ohio State, Arizona, Florida State, Ole Miss, and Alabama.

Patric Young has been the definition of soft every time I've watched UF play. Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane.

please stop including 2 teams who dont have even decent post players, and the fact you include alabama who was probably playing a walk on center is laughable.

and pretty damn good?

he shot 50% against ohio state, not exactly stellar for a post

arizona he played like he should every game, elite

same said for florida state except for the 4 boards

unfortunately for all his good games he has horrible games...

syracuse 6 points 5 rebounds?

texas a&m 5 ponts 4 rebounds?


he is very incosistent and imo from what ive seen teams that play him physical he doesnt accept it and plays poorly.

Ole Miss has no decent post players? You mean the best rebounding team in the SEC? That's Ole Miss. Terrence Henry, Murphy Holloway, Demarco Cox, and Reginald Bucker are pretty decent. Ole Miss has one of the best frontlines in the SEC; it's their guard play that gives them problems. Give me a break.

Those players rebound aggressively, they do not have the size that they should be able to stop Patricia. That guy should out man and out physical just about any post in the country and you know that.

More people around the country think he's soft, not just us. Even his coach said he isn't hardened, aka he's soft as a tissue.

I'm sorry but with his size there's no reason he shouldn't out average sullinger on the year.

When a fellow calls for the coach's head after just a few games in his FIRST season in a difficult situation, it's obvious said fellow is fairly clueless in such matters.

When the same fellow refuses to admit he was wrong like any reasonable man would do and continue to argue his point, then you know you have a real idiot on your hands

Ole Miss has the best low-post defender in the SEC other than Davis in Reginald Buckner. Demarco Cox is freaking 280 pounds. Yes, Ole Miss did have the size and strength to be able to stop Young. But, they didn't. About him being soft: I would agree he's streaky. Against Tennessee, yes, he appeared soft. Against Ohio State, he wasn't soft. I'm hoping that in the NCAA tournament the guy who outplayed Sullinger shows up. I don't know if it will happen, but if it does, Florida will be one of the most dangerous teams in the tournament.

agreed, if he plays to his ability they are dangerous he just seems to wake up in the am not sure which he is, patric or patricia.

the dude is a physical specimen, closest comparison i can think of is dwight howard, he is that physically gifted. maybe im giving him too much credit, but imo there is no reason the guy should not be averaging 18 and 12 a game.

You talk about cupboard being bare we are there.From early in the year to now is like night and day.I think CM has done a fabulous job.You sit in Thompson Boling and you watch them compete.We just need that great ball handler which we have struggled all year without
