Wonder what the thought is now usually one game doesn't make or break a team.We had alittle bad run early but boy they are playing hard and at times they look great.Hope they keep it up

This thread is a clear reminder as to why you never post after a loss. Especially in sports. You need to look at the whole season or situation objectively and take time to formulate your thoughts, otherwise you look like the OP...

Just to note, 2 lazy rebounders don't see the court anymore. I know some miss Hall.
I don't. If Hall plays at lsu, Stokes loses minutes he had to play in that situation, and we lose.

Our defense sucked earlier in the year, we have lazy rebounders, and we still get away from pounding the paint. What's your point? Probably still trying to convince people how well we play against the zone, right.

Never tried to convince anybody of anything. It's not my fault you can't understand they did a good job against UGA. I did not say anything regarding if they had the whole season.

Of course, after this thread, I don't think I have to "defend" myself to you.

2nd in rebounding.

8th in the conference in three point attempts.

2nd in Points against per game.

Last five game, Maymon's getting 8 shots per game, but 8 free throws a game. So yeah he needs to get the ball a little more, but it's better. Especially in the second half against LSU, they did a great job.

Hall gets Yemi's and Dwight's minutes...that's about 15 minutes (19 at LSU). I like Yemi, but he's not ready right now. I'd rather Kenny gets those minutes.

The point is very simple.

You rushed to judgment and made these statements after 15 games. It is obvious that CCM has turned this team around, and has them playing extremely well.

Point being, don't call for a coaches head after 15 games in his first season! Give the guy a chance to show something, if you'd have done that you clearly wouldn't have made those statements.

Stokes needs to get to the free-throw line a bit more. He didn't make it there once against LSU did he? Jam it into him early and often against candy, and hopefully get their bigs in foul trouble, and a couple "and ones" for Stokes. Can't wait for the game tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it as much as a Vol football game. GBO!!!!

Since he's shooting 50% I much rather he go 9-10 from the field and not get fouled like against LSU, then go 1-2 From the field and 5-10 from the line.

Stokes plays the 5 some.

I just can't be convinced that he gets 35+ minutes at LSU with Kenny on the bench and able to play

I was talking more about the future.

He would have gotten the minutes, but Maymon got in foul trouble in the second half. Stokes had to play 35.
