Yeah, I was hopeful since the reports stated he was a standout in the practices and scout team.

He was highschool teammates with Baylen Buchannon...maybe Gibbs wants to sit out a year to play together with him next year?

Either way sounds kind of odd. Not sure why you would want to miss a 2nd season of football in a row. The guy was a highly touted recruit out of HS and I thought he may of wanted to push for some visibility before trying out the NFL. He might get passed up by the Freshmen sitting out this year.

He didn't play much at Georgia. I doubt he will ever play much here either... if it all.

As disappointed as I am about Gibbs sitting out this season ... its not near as bad as LSU's news this morning, of All-American WR Jamarr Chase electing to sit out season. That would make 9 out of 11 starters lost from last year's offense.
