JG threw just 8 passes the entire game. After his 1st pass would have AGAIN been intercepted vs an FBS team. That’s EIGHT throws over FOUR quarters. In a glorified scrimmage game. To wide open WRs w/ sandlot coverage. And he was STILL late on his completed throws.

And somehow this generates excitement and optimism? Wow. Just wow how far we’ve fallen from the SEC elite.

BAMA scored more points today vs an SEC opponent in their beatdown of SCAR than we did virtually unopposed vs Sandlot State.

I didn’t think it was possible but Pruitt has regressed our team. He made a serious lapse in judgment by not developing our backup QBs and betting the house on a more experienced but insecure JG. And lost.

Now going into our SEC schedule we’ve got 1 joke W 2 embarrassing L’s and ZERO O identity. We’re forced to scheme around the obvious and known limitations of our starter. And we’ve got two wildly different undeveloped backups who take our team in completely different directions. So there really is no Plan B.

This “perfect storm” is all on Pruitt. Maybe he’ll pull it all together but atp I’m struggling to find 3-4 total wins and just hoping to avoid historic SEC beatdowns.

Next week you'll see JG choke again. He didn't pass much today. Let's not get to excited about beating UTC. Reminds me of Frank Mir winning a fight, declaring he's back, then getting spanked again shortly thereafter.

Exactly. He would have had 2 more INT’s at minimum if we were playing anyone in the SEC.

He threw more 50/50 balls up in that game than ever before and mostly because he was about to get pounded. He has a chance to prove a lot of people wrong and I hope he does because that means we were in more games than expected. But today proved nothing to me.

THIS TIMES A BILLION, finally, someone that gets it. Because JG hasn't shown he gets it or has it, yet. I hope he does. But, I doubt it. I still say Maurer will be the QB before the end of the season.

Rotflmmfao. Look at the film, pumper. Most of his throws today (including the long TD play) were thrown late and underthrown. It’s just that UTC’s DBs are about the worst I’ve seen in a long while.

Florida is gonna eat him alive. I don’t even want to think about uga and the Gumps.

He is likely the best we have, but that just means he is The shiniest piece of poop in the toilet. He just isn’t a good QB. Deal with it.

You might be right, but he does have his degree. He's almost reviled by a rather large segment of this fan base. He's certainly not going to be drafted. I don't think a transfer is far fetched.
