I didn’t say I was for them at all. I was bemoaning the fact that we have to pay them. The way the system works, we never OWN property in the U.S.; we are basically paying rent to government for the privilege of living there.and so now you are FOR property taxes?
I would rather FIX issues to protect rights, rather than create new issues to take away more rights.
Speech is not restricted.yeah, so can our 2A, even without the Dem crazies. I doubt you support taking 2A rights away from those on welfare.
freedom of speech is restricted.
all rights have restrictions, doesn't mean they shouldn't apply to all citizens.
It’s a terrible look for Tennessee. But MAGA doesn’t care as long as their puppet master is pleased. MAGA is always compliant, they bend over and sell their souls.I can't wait to watch you squeal when the shoe is on the other foot in 28. You reap what you sow and Republicans comeuppance is coming for what they've done to this country.
Nope. They don't care about anything. The Constitution, child rape, voting rights, fraud, corruption. Just so long as it pisses off the libs, it's hilarious to them. America and consequences be damned. It’s a terrible look for Tennessee. But MAGA doesn’t care as long as their puppet master is pleased. MAGA is always compliant, they bend over and sell their souls.
Nope, the national map is finally about to flip. Between republicans redistricting in Texas and in the South, and the upcoming 2030 Census; the democrats are in danger of becoming a minority party for the next two generations.I can't wait to watch you squeal when the shoe is on the other foot in 28. You reap what you sew and Republicans comeuppance is coming for what they've done to this country.
When the Dems run the table in a few years its over. Court packing will end all of this. Is what it is. Both parties are retardedNope, the national map is finally about to flip. Their only hope would be to move back to the sane center. Focus on economy, jobs, and community safety. Leave the hot button social issue loonies out in left field where they belong.
And before you talk about the right wing having a fringe; I would counter that the Republicans rally haven’t moved much further to the right than they were in the 90‘s. The dems just moved so far to the left that Republicans, staying were they were already, seem like extremists.
Remember when Geraldene Ferraro said that she personally opposed abortion even though she thought it should remain legal?
Remember when Bill Clinton said that abortion should be „safe, legal, and rare“.
Remember when Bill Clinton pushed for work requirements for Welfare?
Heck, I can even remember when Barack Obama opposed gay marriage.
Any of these moderate, centrist positions would elicit howls of rage from the democrat party today.
Come back to the Center and you might be surprised how well we could all work together again.
Founding Fathers fought taxation without representation. We live in a world of taxation because of ****** representation.I didn’t say I was for them at all. I was bemoaning the fact that we have to pay them. The way the system works, we never OWN property in the U.S.; we are basically paying rent to government for the privilege of living there.
And I don’t think that is what the founders intended at all.
So you're only against Republican abuse of power? Sounds like you'll openly cheer when it's the Democrats' turn to abuse power.I can't wait to watch you squeal when the shoe is on the other foot in 28. You reap what you sew and Republicans comeuppance is coming for what they've done to this country.
so fix it, instead of making it worse by stripping away rights.I didn’t say I was for them at all. I was bemoaning the fact that we have to pay them. The way the system works, we never OWN property in the U.S.; we are basically paying rent to government for the privilege of living there.

how is not yelling "fire" in a public space a property rights issue?Speech is not restricted.
The “examples” you’ll parade are not restrictions on speech, but issues of property rights.
That court case is wrongly used as an example of "restriction of free speech" and is an urban mythhow is not yelling "fire" in a public space a property rights issue?
how is slander/libel a property right issue?
its well established that the government can punish you for those.
are you confusing two different issues here?
They have lived in the Land of Luxury Beliefs and now they are stuck and dying there.Nope, the national map is finally about to flip. Similar outrage rage for places like Virginia? Other Northeast states for their similar endeavors to stifle their political opponents voices and representation? It’s a terrible look for Tennessee. But MAGA doesn’t care as long as their puppet master is pleased. MAGA is always compliant, they bend over and sell their souls.
Many Democrat and Republican majority states have done this, though most of the examples I'm aware of have been Democrat. The polarization of this country has risen significantly. I think if most people were honest with themselves they'd have to admit neither party truly represents their interests any longer. So you're only against Republican abuse of power? Sounds like you'll openly cheer when it's the Democrats' turn to abuse power.
That's what's wrong with this country. Both sides of the spectrum seem to believe it's okay as long as it's their people doing it.
In case you missed it, things haven't been great under either party. Politicians suck because they serve party, not country, not constituents, but party. And it's both sides. It's Republicans. It's Democrats. Neither side is innocent in this.
