Probably why Erik chose to go there. We made more sense for BJ defensively speaking, but like I said...he's a follower.

Aranda has an offer, they have given him time to think it over - not sure on salary but unless they significantly up the price.... most probably Aranda would have to take a pay cut(?)

Major Burns decommitted this morning as well, expecting Malcolm Greene to flip to Clemson. Numbers are tight for LSU but there could be some jockeying here at the end.

Yeah, UNLV can’t pay him more than $2.5 million. Why take on more responsibility and more work for less money? I’m sure he would have a shot at a bigger HC job sooner than later.

Yeah, its a strange situation as he getting paid more than 70 (or so) head coaches, unless a school from a power conference gives him a go... he'll have to take a pay cut to get experience as a head coach.

He's a good solid coach but this year was a little rough at times, 2016 was actually probably his best year... LSU basically had no defensive lineman. I don't consider him a very good recruiter though.
