I love the portal for the fact that kids can’t threaten to leave unless their NIL bag is bigger. They have already transferred. Makes it difficult to get a waiver for a second transfer without sitting out

The NCAA was sued for immediate playing time for "all" transfers and today a judge in West Virginia rules against the NCAA and put a stay for 14 days for further rulings. Sounds like the NCAA doesn't have a problem with the ruling. I think they're tired of being sued and just giving up.

They got him for depth and he turned out to be the best tight end of the bunch. Jack is going to be a nice tight end, but are you ready to start him? What has Davis shown to this point... especially with the fact that the staff would prefer not to sub meaning each player is on the field for every down of the drive. Miles K played all but like two snaps against Miss St and the team has had to rely on him to even step into a receiving role that others had last year. Next year's team definitely needs a veteran tight end with experience in the room.

I think there is a good chance Davis and Harrison enter the portal and Kitsleman is gone. We won’t have a choice but to take one veteran from the portal but there is a good chance JVD starts next year. He is already a great blocker and he will continue to grow in the passing game. I still think we take a HS TE also.
