Come on Hat, like I've said, I respect you a ton, but by your logic on this, there wouldn't be a good time til basketball season was over.

If it were you, would you not respond on your time frame if you felt the need? I know I would.

My thoughts exactly. If anyone had inappropriate timing, it was Adams. His article could have just as easily wasted space in the paper next week.

I think both Adams and Fulmer have points. Regardless, in response to Fulmer responding or not, he would be "damned if he does, damned if he doesn't" type thing.
The response could have waited till Monday however.

Yeah, like it's an epic stretch to think he and the former athletic director would cut a deal with the SEC that essentially traded the eligibility of a meaningless third team JUCO transfer for Isiah Victor's initial eligibilty. Oh, I forgot. That happened.

That is spot on.

However, had he waited until Monday (or just not responded) he could not have looked like an attention whore.

I don't think CPF did it to say as to say the world revolves around him or be an attention whore however.

Kiss the ring. I'm not a huge Fulmer fan, but the man has won. The man loves this school, and this state. He has done more with his life than anyone on this board. He's coached a team to 2 SEC championships, a National Championship, gives a ridiculous amount of money to charities and treats this school with all the respect it deserves.

Edit: Should read "more than most" not more than "anyone." Thanks all you doctors, nurses, soldiers, etc. You're the best!

The doctors, elementary school teachers, and veterans on this board contibute more to society in a day than TCHFCATUTK will in his life. Good to see the value of a UT education is now worthless if you're the type of student we're producing. I guess perspective isn't something one picks up easily.
