Fulmer talking to Miles

Quoting on VQ that Cade Mays has stated Gruden or Miles the only hires that could change things up on his decision. Simonton and some poster named Snozz. fwiw

Its funny how people think UT will have the pick of the litter of coaches after this awful disaster. Being town by Dave fricking Doeren. Someone like Les is very respected and can help rebuild the program, which is a literal joke right now

Before we hire les I would like to know who else we have talked to. Are we going the bargain route again?

Miles is 144 and 55 as a head coach which is a superb record. I think he is a stabilizing force and hopefully that is the way we go. I could go for some other prospects but none are interested. He is number one of the people that are interested at this time.

Brohm or Leach would come. Anyone taking Les over those 2 especially Brohm is crazy.

Oregon literally just produced a Miles type record.

Les did nothing after Saban's recruits were gone.

How long do these kids stay in school? He went to two national championship games and an argument could be made that even the 2007 team was his. 2011 was absolutely him. LSU has a bunch of talent, but that hasn't stopped them from being a bad team without a good coach in the past. Les isn't perfect, but he is a very good coach, and would be good for the Vols.

Well, we really dont know who would come here. All this is from questionable sources. I seem to remember Brohm turning us down, plus the second Louisville comes open he is gone. He played there. Guaranteed

Report: Phillip Fulmer has made contact with Les Miles about Tennessee job

So it might be

HC- Miles
OC/AC- Martin
DC- ?

I would like Steele ... could be Chavis.

What are your opinions?

This would be fantastic. Les gives 100% control/authority to Tamaurice to run the offense as he sees fit and Les understands he’s here on a 2 year, and 2 year only contract, no matter if he wins the SuperBowl, Stanley Cup and Wimbledon in his second year. He’s gone after 2 years and Tamaurice is head coach in year 3. Give The Hat $3mm, Tamaurice $1.5mm, and Kevin Steele $1.2-1.5mm to be DC and let’s roll.

That said, I’d make Cut turn down the same deal before I went to Les. And I’d be fine with scrapping that altogether and making Tee the head coach from day 1.

Ryan Leaf scored a 27. Faulty gauge of intellectual capacity?

OK, so Tee's that far behind Leaf?

I take your point, but 11 just seems very low, so I'm definitely wondering.

Wherever Tee ends up, it'll be interesting to watch an offense that he designs, and what success it has. I'm very curious about this subject.

Let's hope that if we get Miles, that will help with a lot of recruits. Martinez included, since he's now taking a Missouri visit.

I like Brohm, but Brohm doesn't bring Tee and possibly Steele or Chavis. I like a Les/Tee Martin combo wth Steele or Chavis at DC better than Brohm.
