Fulmer talking to Miles

Tee isn't coming unless its for the HC job...He would lose a lot of money coming here to be the OC...USC pays him well

No he wouldn’t. Even if he took same pay, he’d almost double his cash. He literally would need to make in the 700K range in Cali to make same cash he would at his current $455K if he was at TN.

How is getting a coach no one else wants, gold?

Because he is a good coach, look at his record. Much much much better than some we have been looking at. Love to have Les Miles. He will turn this program around, and I realize his age, but he can get us stabilzed and back with a winning record, and have OC or DC being groomed to take over when he retires. Would be a great hire.

His biggest problem was at the QB position. We get that covered with a hell of a recruiter and coach like Tee we are solid.

Tee isn’t a QB coach. He’s OC/WR coach at USC.

Tired of UT not having an OC who also handles QB’s specifically.

The fact that people think Les Miles is the answer is astounding. Hell yeah im super excited to hire a 64 year old coach, who by the way just got fired because he couldn't beat Alabama with the talent that LSU has every year but that's okay because he will best everyone with Tennessees talent.

What coach in the Sec E is better than Miles? Possibly Kirby Smart. Mullen was something like 1-7 vs miles in head to head matchups. Not my 1st choice but considering the events of the last week we could do a lot worse.

If the goal is to make Tee HC in waiting and let him learn for a few years before he takes over, it makes a lot of sense. I bet Chief would be DC. I have mixed feelings on that part.

Chief is a very good DC when he has the talent to work with.

Mullen, Muschamp, Smart.

All have a 2 touchdown lead over Miles at UT given how this week has gone.

Oregon literally just produced a Miles type record.

Les did nothing after Saban's recruits were gone.

Went 80-28 since his title in 2007. 74% win percentage.

UT went 58-55 in the same time frame. Thats with a full 2016 season Miles didnt have. 51% win percentage.

Id take Miles.

Miles was 114-34 at LSU. That’s .770

I’m on board. Guy got canned after a 9 win season in a still very hard SEC West. He can recruit lights out too.

That would be a good hire for us right now. Guy has been there before. Knows what it’s like. His players will kill for him.

We know our Defense would be a total goon squad again.

He will have to have a great support staff. I only like him to combo with Tee and Steele over Cheif. It's not all about just Miles

Will Miles allow his coordinators to coordinate??

That really needs to be understood from the beginning, let the OC run the offense, if he is not willing to do that have a clause in the contract terminated with cause for insubordination. He has always done well on defense.
