So are you serious that you expect only "marginal" improvements or are you just stirring the pot?
I think if, and its a big if, Freeze was hired, we would see some improvement. But nowhere near the amount that some think. Freeze isnt going to turn this offense into a lethal machine in one year. But I guess expecting him to is what we should do because we are TN right?
I can't speak for anyone else but to pretend an offense can't be turned around by a guy proven to be able to do it in the SEC is ignoring what happened in that far away season of 2018 in Gainesville.
I will say this though; If Freeze is hired and he has to deal with "meddlers" then it is entirely possible that the improvements would be marginal. Maybe that is why TOF made that statement.
There is evidence that sometimes when a certain ex-coach "helped" our Offensive Coordinator things went to hell in a handbasket. Sanders, Clawson, Helton... I'll say no more.
Lol. Trying to compare a proven HC hire to an OC hire? Yeah that seems legit. Also, regardless if you or anyone else wants to admit it, UF is much more talented than TN.
And regardless if you or anyone else wants to admit it, UF is much better coached than TN.
If HF is left to his own devices to run the offense his way it would be very much like a HC getting to run the offense his way. Except maybe in your world where that reality ruins your well thought out points. In that world they are to very different things.
Did you see what he did to old miss in one year? I mean I know you have to stick to your no talent mode but cmon manI think if, and its a big if, Freeze was hired, we would see some improvement.
