I wouldn't write him off because of one bad season. Just look at his body of work. Multiple 10+ win seasons at Penn State and got Vanderbilt to 9 wins, which is an impressive feat in of itself lol.

Still can't stand the guy though personally.

He's a good coach no doubt. Definitely better than what we've had in almost 2 decades

Wow never even realized that when it happened,1 team barely winning record. That was basically great timing. ESPN that year kept showing his face & 9 wins at Vandy they got behind him and he got big $$$. I do think he is above average coach but I totally dis like Franklin.
