Wabbit stew.
I mean WOW.... RB just flat out dropped the sledge hammer on Horner.Christian Horner out at Red Bull. Wonder what this means for Verstappen staying or leaving?
This one would be my guess. The other option - Max to Merc is already a done deal and that was Horner's last ace walking out the door and he had nothing left to defend against the firing.
Pure speculation on my part, but I wonder if they're prepping part or all of Red Bull F1 to be sold. Only reason I say it is the ownership is split up. The Thai group owns more than 50% I think. Then there is a European group that owns the rest. Last year when the rumors of internal problems between the team started after Dietrich Mateschitz died supposedly it was the Thai owner that staunchly backed Horner and the European group was on the opposite side.Yes, they will probably try to as much as possible erase any connection to Horner.
The four architects to Max's dominate cars (22-24) are now gone.
Booo.... Just boo. Not a fan of this. I get it, it's a big $ deal for both parties.![]()
Apple and F1 reach 5-year media deal, bringing all races to Apple TV streaming in the U.S.
Apple and Formula 1 announced their long-awaited five-year U.S. media rights deal that will bring all U.S. televised races to Apple TVwww.cnbc.com
I agree on the US viewership. Kind of weird though. F1 has tried hard the last couple of years to make in-roads to the US market (restarted Vegas race, renewed Miami, new US team, media blitz) just to potentially cut their viewership.Seems like this is a great way to kill viewership the US. Instead of watching on ESPN that probably most fans in the US watched on through their cable or streaming package, they now have to spend $13 a month for Apple Tv.
