Christian Horner out at Red Bull. Wonder what this means for Verstappen staying or leaving?
I mean WOW.... RB just flat out dropped the sledge hammer on Horner.

Mekies moving over from Racing Bulls to take Horner's place as CEO.

Jos and Marko might have dangled Max to Merc to get Horner outed...wouldn't surprise me with that pair.

The other option - Max to Merc is already a done deal and that was Horner's last ace walking out the door and he had nothing left to defend against the firing.

All I know is the the Drive to Survive crew is fixing to have a field day with the last couple of days (Nico getting his 1st podium and now Horner being shown the door).....

This one would be my guess.

Read in another forum that it's not just Horner. Chief Marketing Officer and Group Director of Communication have also left.

Yes, they will probably try to as much as possible erase any connection to Horner.

The four architects to Max's dominate cars (22-24) are now gone.

Pure speculation on my part, but I wonder if they're prepping part or all of Red Bull F1 to be sold. Only reason I say it is the ownership is split up. The Thai group owns more than 50% I think. Then there is a European group that owns the rest. Last year when the rumors of internal problems between the team started after Dietrich Mateschitz died supposedly it was the Thai owner that staunchly backed Horner and the European group was on the opposite side.

Anyone find it strange that Herta is leaving Indy Car to be a test driver in F1? Or is this just a step for him to get a full time ride in F1.

I know there has been rumors about him moving to F1 for a couple of years now.

I think - If Herta wants to be a F1 driver in the future, this kind of makes sense. He hasn't driven all the F1 tracks. This will give him an opportunity to gain the track and/or simulator experience and be involved with the team. He does bring a lot of experience to the help add to the development of the car. If he shows well, might even allow him to slide into the seat. It's a gamble, but one that may pay off in the long term.
