Fl will be a tough game for our team and fans mentally because they have such a long streak. But I do feel will beat them by 10 points. I say it will be similiar to the ncst game except it will be a one score game until the fourth qt we will control the pace. Sec rivals just don't roll over. BTW I'm going to that game and plan on rocky toppin all night long!!!

It will boil down to UT being able to run the ball. If we can, we should win. UF almost always has superior athletes on their team compared to us. They do in many positions again this year except WR. We need to hold them to less than 14 points inthe 1st half. If we can get them in the locker room at half down by more than a touchdown, it will be a great step towards beating UF.

UT is the more talented team this year and should win. The only position group on O where they have more talented depth is TE. UT's secondary looks good. BGSU pushed their DL around quite a bit. They may have an edge at LB but it isn't a big one if they do. UT's secondary hasn't gotten the props but looked better in the first game.

The key for UT in every game this year will be scoring points. IMO, the Vols will win any regulation game in which they score 30+.

I've been following the Gators for 30 years.

This team blows.

No QB. Penalties galore. Defense is good but really a bunch of individuals at this point trying to make an individual name for themselves to get to the NFL.

Honestly, this has all the earmarks of total collapse.

Typical gator false humility. What a bunch of crap. They'll play to their competition, since Spurrier, they always have.

I also think this will be a much bigger game for UT to get over the Fl hump. Fl will view this as another SEC game

Not after the azzwhoopin they are getting right now. They will be fightin for the chick-fil-a bowl :dance2:

after the butt-kicking they're getting in college station, the gators will be desperate for any win they can get. moosecrap reminds me of zook.

Just not seeing it ....

I am a die hard Vol - graduated in 97. There is a strong part of me that wonders why people on this board are not having the same major concerns that I have:

- No answer for running the ball in short yardage situations
- The absence of a kicking game
- A Defense that has shown considerable holes in both games
- Poor open field tackling
- Def Linemen getting way out of their lanes allowing broken plays to be huge gains for the opposing team

I see a scenario where the fast paced offense - goes 3 and out within a minute repeatedly. Whereby Florida methodically moves the ball down the field.

The NC State game was a shocker to me in the sense that they completely imploded - giving us an edge to close out the game, however i feel like we kept trying to get them back in the game.

GA State played us tight for quite some time ... GA State!!! They should have been out-matched from the minute the whistle blew.

Sorry folks ... just not seeing it.

I think this is a super-important game for the program - don't win it and it hurts for years to come. Win it - and we are set for a great season.

I don't think the Gators showed anything at all on Saturday and I will stop just short of saying they wanted to be vanilla and look the way they did. I am sure they will tighten up and we will see a ton more after the A&M game. I hope they get the heck beat out of them and come into the UT game with a limp from the previous week. Looking at threads saying they are a "cupcake" is just stupid. Come on Vols fans you make us all look stupid when you post that mess. With that said, it should be more of a game this year than in the last few. So Go Vols and hopefully the world of college football is still overlooking us come gametime.

I'm sorry but yeah right! They wanted to be down at the half and barely win by 3 points? I'm sure.

I hope you are right -- my son is now 7 and now loves watching Tennessee play - he loves Number 8 :) This week all he wants to do is play football-catch in the backyard and be like the Vols he saw on TV during the NC State game.

We cannot wait for the game - he doesn't understand anything about ESPN, or how packed the stadium will be, or how loud, and how much fun his dad had in the 90s:dance2:

Living in Southern NJ - my son is a Vol in the making. So Nervous about this game. Will be watching on ESPN with Skype fired up - with a number of my old college buddies who now live up here in the northeast. Feels like yesterday I was having a beer with Leonard Little at 'The Lap' ...

They win this game - no way I am not in Knoxville to catch at least one game this year.

Tennessee and Florida both has shown a lot. Neither slept on NC STate or Texas A&M they had to show a lot to just win the game. Florida isn't being mediocre looking on purpose.

florida struggled with bowling green and texas a&M---neither team is that good. Plus, they have a ton of key injuries. UT should win this game easily, maybe by 10+. Bray will light up their secondary for big yards and points.
