Fire Pruitt roll call

Give me a break. Acting like the first game of the season Will predetermine the final record is the stupidest thing on this board. And there were plenty of people doing that exact thing because they could “predict the future”......

Seeing people backtrack now just make me giggle. Y’all didn’t know what the rest of the season would look like but y’all wanted to use GSU loss as a guarantee we would got 2-10 with Phil sabotaging the program and taking back the job......

Oh, like you had any damn clue how this would go. We played like absolute crap from the Mizzou game last year through Florida. Total garbage.

I love the self righteousness of those "who knew the whole time". f*** off.

We’ll most likely be worse next year. Ya know, year 3. The year he should show his “full” ability as a HC. This discussion will still be going in 2 years so don’t get all bent out of shape over those who choose to live in the clouds.

Once again, find any post where I guaranteed what will happen In terms of final record.... spoiler alert, you won’t. Because I’m not a slapdick who can watch one game out of 12 and say “yep, our other 11 games will do this and that....”

There are plenty of people who flat out guaranteed what will happen after the Georgia State game. I wasn’t one of them. Nice try

You keep mentioning the 'one game' as if Georgia State was the only red flag. It was, of course the worst performance. But as I've mentioned in my previous 2 posts, there was a 6 game stretch where we had no passion, no fire, no enthusiasm, no anything. There were red flags all over the place.

So, as I originally said, it wasn't like we were just making things up. And, as I said in my first post, I'm very glad to see things seem to be turning around.

I’m sorry but last year’s games have zero to do with this year because we don’t have the same exact team.

And once people like you with this dumb claim that “Georgia State loss would predetermine the final season record” As foolishness, you immediately bring up last season’s game that nothing to do with this season. Last time I check this year’s roster compared to last year’s is different.

But yes, bring up last year like it has any impact on this year. Must have missed all the players who graduated last year still playing on this year’s team but under different names and numbers.

OK, now I get it. You have a generic argument to make that doesn't really have anything to do with what I've said but for some reason quoted my post and accuse me of saying something when I've clearly stated something else entirely for (now) 4 posts. I've been consistent in saying the the issues spanned 6 games (2 last year, 4 this year) but you keep on parroting "Georgia State, Georgia State."

Last years games do apply because you use last year as a test for how we improve from one year to another. Everyone in the business of breaking down college football programs will look at improvement from year to year. That's common practice.

I realize none of this means anything to you as you will, again, accuse everyone who complained about Pruitt of basing it just on Georgia State.

Nothing he's done has made up for Georgia State. Nothing. He was always gonna get his contract years. That was never in doubt with this administration.

But to act like last night made up for Georgia State is just dumb.

the further we get away from the Butch Jones era the better we are.

Coaching up some of his players that stayed.
Better Culture
S&Conditioning improvements
Players that left may not have adjusted to the Changes made by this staff.
Takes time.

And last year's game have zero bearing on this year. Unless you think that the same roster somehow magically is playing this year, bringing up last year means absolutely nothing. Just more fodder and backpedalling because you can't make your argument that the Georgia State loss will dictate our final record while not having to wait and see how the 11 other games go.

Now you can bring up last year's record to see how we improve or digress this year, but that's it. And guess what? You can only do that when you look at the record as a whole of 12 games..... not 1 game out of 12 like you and so many others did.
