We are improving i was one of them after the 0-2 start that thought coach JP was over his head, yes we got a GOOD win yesterday but we got to follow it up with a win against UAB or all is lost if somehow we can win 3 out of the last 4 and get a BOWL BERTH the recruits will give us a good look and we will have a shot at some elite recruits to finish of this class, with all that has gone on we will see if the COACHING STAFF can get this team up to play a good and well coach UAB TEAM they are well coached and will beat your azz if we come in the game not fired up to play just maybe the GS LOSS has taught this staff how to prepair for a team you should beat coming of a victory i am still behind coach JP but the UAB is a must win for coach JP and recruiting i admit this is the first time in a long time just maybe we can get this team and program going in the right direction, but all is lost with a loss to UAB this is a must win for coach JP AND HIS FUTURE LONG TERM AT TENNESSEE.

I'm with you on this sentiment. Going to the Georgia State game, I was very concerned. The team was poorly coached and played without heart. But, I've never been one to go way up after a win and way down for a loss. Thus, for me, silly to ever say Fire Pruitt after a few games. Almost always, there are pains with new coaching staffs as they gel. And, Pruitt of course is still learning along with a lot of freshman players.

Now, as for Pruitt, yes, jury is still out. After a big win, I won't do the opposite and anoint him the chosen one. But, there is promise that we have combined good coaches and good recruiting.

Somewhat agree, but I’d say it’s completely in order as of today, October 27.

This team is absolutely 100% better this year than last, this team has shown phenomenal improvement in all areas, including attitude and effort and they have great momentum going into the last 1/3 of the season.

Jury is still out. He’s absolutely improved. We beat Auburn last year and that built equity. This year we’ve beaten Miss St. and a quality USCe team. He definitely is worth holding on to for the remainder of his contract and has potential to be very good. That being said, I still wouldn’t toss an extension his way just yet.

I've been on record 1000 times he's great coach. Need more players. He's also learning as he goes but you see difference in what role qb plays. Plus we are really surging with physicality. That's coaching as well...huge fan of staff and how both they and team have grown this year. I really think we can be dangerous next year. We really should have been 9 and 3 team this year. Everyone left on our schedule I'm not impressed with including mizzou

Isn’t this what was said after State? Have to follow it up with a respectable effort vs bama? And really need to keep showing what we saw vs State down the stretch? All this team has done is play better every week this month - IN SPITE OF pathetic officiating, rotating QBs, defenders lost to targeting ejections, and multiple players injured on the line and secondary. Yes we need to keep it up, but the improvement this team has shown in the month of October has been absolutely amazing.

I'll just say this: A lot of negative fans are really confused today, and they are trying to figure out what to do with their keyboard fingers. They were dazed after Miss. State, fuzzy after Alabama, but they are in a full blown state of confusion right now. It's like watching a wild animal being removed from its natural habitat and put in a cage.

Listen, yesterday was a great win and this team seems to be improving on a weekly basis. But we thought that last year as well and then we tripped down the stretch and missed a bowl. I'm not advocating to fire Pruitt this week but I'm also not lobbying for him to get a raise and extension.

If we make a bowl game I'm for an extension. To me his biggest mistake was continuing to start jg. We would have at least 5 wins now if he hax started maurer. With that said jg did play a good game yesterday, his first of the year. If he continues to play him if jg is able, I hope he has him on a very short leash.

Pruitt is having to learn to be a HC. Unless the bottom totally falls out it will take 4-5 years to truly rate his ability.

Dumb take. He should be showing his full ability in year 3 when he has the overwhelming majority of the roster making up the two deep with his guys and when his first two classes also have been in multiple years of S&C.
