i still say if we win 8 or more fire chaney. dooley really needs to win 9 games. even if he does that i say fire chaney still. no matter what happens fire chaney after the season.

exactly, if dooley can't do it or get a guy that wants to run the football then he should go.
jim chaney has proved he doesn't think the defense can or does get tired and has no consideration for them in that regard. he is just a pass happy idiot who eats way to much and does not care about running the football. he needs to be removed from our university as soon as the season is over.

Makes no sense to fire CJC unless Dools is loading his stuff into the Uhaul as well. If we see CDD overtake the play calling duties I think it will tell us it's a matter of time. Why have an OC you don't trust to call plays? Why have a guy on payroll who can't do his job he is paid to do? IF Dooley is calling plays VS Akron, I would bet we will NOT see a new OC hired as Dooley has not been allowed to fire CJC or replace him. Why replace an OC now when the next head coach(between now and December) would probably replace the replacement as soon as he got here? The dominos will start to fall shortly.

chaney more than likely has cost dooley some wins. the florida game was on chaney panicking. you can't fire chaney until after the season. let him monitor tyler and keep him away from parties, beer bottles, and golf balls.

Kiffin did it, it's the head coaches final responsibility to shape the team how he wants it to look.

My concern for two years now has been chaneys play calling, and lack of adjustment to defensive changes.
My bigger concern is why CDD is letting him do it? I know I've heard Dooley say you can't hire a guy and not let him do his job, but when his performance is costing you your job, ya gotta draw a line!!
Why has CDD let him get away with lackluster performances for two years when he has let others go for less??
