That all sounds well and good, but the money has to come from somewhere. We can't just offer an absurd amount of money to a worthy coach and just wait for the money to come in to pay him. We aren't the US Government. We can't just print new money and call it real.
I'm just saying that it might be better for the program to wait another year so that we can truly offer a Chris Petersen $4mil. Right now, with the money we'll be able to scrape together, we'll be looking at hiring a lower tier coach.
