How should they address it?
You can tell Worley, but it is still ultimately on his shoulders to make that split second decision to pull the trigger or not.
In hindsight, we have minutes, hours, days to say what we would have done in that split second. We can see the field better from our perspective, than what he sees. Down on the field, with bodies flying all around you, its different. By 100 fold
A freshman QB doesnt have the luxury of a panoramic view, in HD.
It's not the loses that are the problem nearly as much as the effort by Dooley's team. We have not had a second half effort since before Georgia. It appears that he and his staff are unable to motivate this team to get a full game effort out of them. He can't pick and stay with a QB. He can't even pick a punter and stay with a punter.
1. The running game has gotten worst.
2.the secondary is out of control.
3.he makes the dumbest playcalls.
4.he refuses to kick field goals
5.the team has regressed since he was hired.
6.the players don't even like him.
7.his english is terrible and makes tennessee look retarded in every interview.
Ironic that second half scoring wasn't a problem until our starting QB who was putting up Heisman numbers and our best WR who was putting up Heisman numbers both went down.
Oh wait, can't say that because then the Fulmer apostles won't be happy we are losing like they are now.

Wow. This this this. Someone with some sence. After this that was said and guys still want to kick cdd to the curb. Fact is how many freshman are starting and playing over half of every game. They are freshmen. This isn't highschool anymore people. The talent we have might not be that of bama or lsu but dang they need some field experience and pt. Just like when guys from college go to the nfl. the qbs are not brady or manning for years. Give dooley some slack. He does need to make some changes with the staff I agree. But throwing dooley out cause were not beating people that we shouldn't beat is ludicrous. Give us bray and hunter back we beat florida and usce. These are freshman mostly. They need to adapt to the game. This is the sec guys not high school. If things don't change any in 2 years then call for his departure.Something tells me its pretty hard to win the SEC with:
1 junior, 3 sophomores, and a freshman on the oline
A freshman QB who was originally the 3rd string
No running backs coach
Our best receiver out since the Florida game
We now only have what 2 starters on our D that started last year?
With that being said our all sec safety was kicked off the team a week before the season started
Our other safety is out for the rest of the year
Our only returning linebacker broke his ankle and will miss the whole season
We played Arkansas, bama, lsu, south carolina, georgia, and florida with the youngest team in American that is 70 PER CENT FRESHMEN AND SOPHOMORES
Yeah they may seem poorly coached but hell with the said reasons what do you expect? Some people refuse to get it. I'm probably one of the few who will still support this team if they lose to Vandy and Kentucky. I fully believe next year is different.

I have no idea what we have for coaching, but in 37 years of seriously following the Vols, bizarre things have happened under this staff that I have never seen before:
The Arky punt return
No second half points game after game
0-6 to start the SEC
Kickers that, well, simply can't kick
Improper number of players on the field, again and again (last year)
Now missed tackles, broken assignments, staring down receivers, an OL that can't make a push - seen all that many times.
Been a fan since the mid-60's and really cannot recall a UT team that was the youngest in the nation. Also cannot recall playing the youngest team in the nation against the toughest schedule in the nation. I also don't recall losing so many of our "strength" players in a single season, losing strength players on a young team magnifies itself over and over. Nothing that won't take care of itself. This team and coaches will be given time to "season" themselves, and IMO, this board will blow up with praise.

I think everybody can agree that if we don't make considerable improvements next season, Dooley might not be the guy for the job. I'm a huge Dooley supporter, but I'm also a realist. Next season, we should at least be competing for the SEC East.
