With all that being said, we can't get rid of Dooley yet. We've gotta keep him around at least one more year to build stabilty, especially since he can recruit fairly well. I hope he is able to learn from his and his staff's mistakes just as they ask the players to learn from mistakes.

I hope some changes are considered with the staff though, particularly with CJC. The Sprint Draw Scheme he and Dooley have tried to implement is horrible and not gonna fly in this conference.

I agree 100% ...the spint - draw running scheme is not going to work in the SEC . Blocks must be held to long . By the time the ball carrier gets it ..a backer has already filled the gap. It is a system that makes the back look terrible and the offensive line does not have a chance ...the very nature of it creates a mismatch in blocking numbers in the defenses favor. They need a power scheme not this MAC hybrid .

Losses, freshman mistakes , holes in talent ...I get it and appreciate what we are up against. The mistakes are the same every week with no improvement anywhere

Take tackeling for instance. This is not a talent based or age based skill . You can take a bunch of slow, undersized D2 kids and make them into good tacklers . Yeah they may get out run or bullied down the field but they wont pinball off a high tackle attempt .

There are a tone of very basic fundamental issues with this team from the coaches on down that could be corrected that are outside the scope of experience and talent.

If you think about it, the roster Dooley inherited was similar to that of a program on probation if not worse. With all the players that left when Kiffin was hired along with the very few left out of the 09 class it is almost as though we went an entire offseason without a recruiting class.

I swear some of you fans make me want to be a Bama or Gator fan yall would let Dooley Tea bag you all and say you know what this is part of the process of becoming a great fan base. He could pull a Sandusky move and yall will cheer him on. Face it he is horrible I hope he is relieve of his duties. He has proved he is a great mid major coach he bets MTSU and memphis but he cant COMPETE with the other coaches we dont need a win but COMPETE

Since Fulmer was let go in 2008, we have lost 46 players (34 that were on scholarship and 12 that were committed to play). Not even Nick Saban could overcome that obstacle.

I like Dooley because of his interviews and that is one of his best assets as a coach. He is a terrific orator and that helps him to be liked by most everybody except the nega vols. #4. He shouldn't let an injured kicker try a long meaningless field goal anyway. We need trickery like that and Dooley has been sucessful on dialing them up. Support the coach and the team because they are both here to stay for a few years.

Dooley is the correct guy. We just have to give him time to get recruits in and develop them. Nick Saban agrees. Previous staff let the program get so low that the talent pool was approx the same as a school that has gotten the death penalty. A school in that shape will not rebuild their program overnight. Walk-ons can only take us so far. Some of our unrealistic fans forget that we lost most of our playmakers to injury, also. We will be a much different team next year with our playmakers back, even better the next. And some of the critics will be ashamed of themselves. They are not true fans.
