Fire Dave Hart

why should you care k-town.

Because there are a million of these. And what Vol Nation really needs is for people to stfu about firing Hart because he had little or nothing to do with the current state of UT athletics.

Hart - hired Butch, Cuonzo Martin (Sweet 16)

Hamilton- fired Fulmer. Hired Kiffin. Hired Dooley.

WE - ran Martin out.

This "F-ARE HART!" **** sounds so ignorant.

FFS he's actually making strong strides to a health athletics program.

And the "Lady Vols" name change... Can I just say it? Who GAS? Seriously. W. G. A. F.

So true. People have no clue how the business world works

Really? So tell me - what is so important about a non-alum getting the AD job? Can't an alum be a business person as well? And what kind of business does our boy Hart actually do? Eliminate the world famous Lady Vol logo? Fire a coach because of an illegal barbecue before hiring one with even more allegations? Sounds like our business is about as efficient as the government.

Yeah, his one basketball hire and 3 year tenure suggests that Hart is inept. Do some of you even read what you write before you post it. We have a lot of fans that are an embarrassment.

Perhaps you should learn to read as I clearly stated the blame comes from higher up. I don't even see how it can be argued, we've seen nothing but ineptitude the past decade when it comes to the handling of Tennessee athletics. It's blatantly obvious there is a problem beyond the AD.

My apologies for misreading it. You can still kiss my arse for your little comment.

Little comment? You're the one attacking the intelligence/reading comprehension of multiple posters in this very thread. Now you're telling me to "kiss your arse" whilst apologizing for some poor reading comprehension on your part. Pot meet kettle/calm down, it's a discussion forum where dissenting opinions will be posted.

I don't see how one can say that Hart gets a pass if he is not fired for his decision to hire Tyndall. It is now part of his record.

For me, the athletic program is the sum of Hart's handling of the UT administration in support of sports, his handling of finances, keeping sports infrastructure at state of the art levels, making sure Tennessee's athletes are scholar athletes, being the guardian of UT's reputation nationwide, in addition to his hiring and firing of coaches for all sports. Relative to his performance of the job, I expect him to have integrity, personal accountability and represent UT very well.

Each person can assess each aspect of his performance and come up with his/her own conclusion about whether or not the sum total of Hart's "body of work" (Butchism) is worth or unworthy of retention.

Another aspect of Hart's not getting a pass for hiring and having to fire Tyndall is VolNation. I'm sure he will hear about it as long as he is athletic director at UT and until his death. Nothing ever dies with VolNation.
