Iirc Hart didn't use a search firm last time. He wanted to run his own search, or the AD is so broke that they couldn't afford a search firm. Either way, information that probably could've been gleaned easily by PI was not discovered/ignored and we made what appears to have been a rushed hire. Maybe Cheek ordered a rush hire so we wouldnt have a vacancy when Pearls show cause ended, maybe Hart really believed DT was the best he could get. Now we're supposed to trust this guy to hire someone else? Only way Hart gets the benefit of the doubt again is if we make a consensus home run hire which supposedly cannot happen because we're too cheap even though we're about to be sitting on a mountain of tv revenue.

Adios Donny. To quote the outlaw Josie Wales, "Whenever I get to liking somebody, they aren't around very long." Hart's a$$ is on the line with this next hire.

I agree I really doubt he is sabotaging the program. I just think he is that incompetent and not trustworthy. He was accused of hiding rape allegations at FSU, didn't run the cleanest AD department there, worked at Ala under Mail Moore who in his tenure their football program was on probation 8 of those years. And now the various issues at UT it makes me nervous with him in charge.

Hart just stated the NCAA gave the DT hire its blessing. Meaning there was no indication there was any indication of wrong doing at SM. Not defending Hart, but nothing indicated this was coming.

I also usually find that unacceptable - expect when "them" refers to group of morons who are trying to impeach a perfectly good coach. Players understood that better than anyone - remember they also could have used the petition against Cuonzo and more often than not when coaches are under attack players quit on them as well and this was not the case here. They backed him 1000% and kudos to the team for having the guts to stand up to and expose dumb fans for what they are.

Yeah, his one basketball hire and 3 year tenure suggests that Hart is inept. Do some of you even read what you write before you post it. We have a lot of fans that are an embarrassment.

He's been here a little over 3 years you nimrods and took over a athletic department in shambles. Hamilton was here 10 years so comparing the 2 doesn't even make sense. I get sick and tired of fans who couldn't perform the duties of the athletic department for an hour thinking they have any idea as to what makes a good AD and what doesn't. You jokers don't realize the lack of stability is what continuously causes our programs to fail. Of course that's the way things are these days. People are more intelligent in their own delusional heads as to what bears out in reality.

apparently the whole world knew about Tyndall's past, yet Hart didn't know and now he's going to approve the next hire?

what a debacle.
