Fargo - TV Series

Thinking the East German who is falsely accused is the grandfather of the McGregor brothers but I don't know what the connection is to the story yet.

I couldn't stop laughing when the the old guy googled Varga's name and had the screenshot taken of him and his wife, and pretty much the whole restaurant scene. Especially when that waitress took Ray's food

Did anyone else notice the reference to Stan Grossman from the film? That was pretty dang cool.

I'm seeing some Boardwalk Empire alums in this season... should we hope for a surprise Steve Bushimi cameo?

I think I looked over that part. What was it?

It was when they were talking about that parking lot the semi parked in and they were talking about how they should put some condos on it and Emmit said "yeah we should talk to Stan Grossman about that."

Of course Stan Grossman is Wade's right hand man in the film. Little easter eggs like that are too dang cool.

It would be in the same time frame of his character in the film. I wouldn't put it past them.

Ohhhh ok, thanks. I don't know how I missed that.

Another good one. I was fascinated by the box in the hotel for some reason. It was so odd.

It wasn't my favorite episode, but it's Fargo so it was still pretty good in comparison to every other show out there. As for the box, I feel like it had something to do with the robot... Because its on/off switch went from green to red just like the robot's did, and it emphasized that right after the robot turned itself off for the last time.

Yea so are we to believe he left that behind somehow? Or does it mean nothing except like you pointed out about the alien.

I'm thinking he left it behind in his haste, but I'm not sure how much it plays into what I said earlier. I'd imagine that it does some, but it's just a theory so who knows at this point.

That was a nice touch having Frances Fisher play the older version of Francesca Eastwood's character, since she is her mother in real life (and Clint Eastwood is her father).

Oh cool - didn't know that! Thought it was just really good casting

This season seems slightly more of a slow burn than the first two; I don't mind it at all because of the masterful storytelling. I suspect the pace is about to pick up now that the dots have been connected on all three Stusseys
