Fan writes letter to KNS complaining about noise level in Neyland

Fake, imo

I don't think so, lawgator. I've been there and he sounds like a possible resident What I do, highly doubt, is that they have been to stadiums all over the S.E.C. Me thinks that was added embelishment to give the clown credibility...

VOL NATION: Thank you for your input on noise factor.
2) It is the piped in " Third Down for What", and the ( I can not call it music ) " racket" , piped in before the game,
( that makes conversation useless ), I intensly dislike.
3) If you read the lyrics of " Turn Down for what" you would not be as enthusiastic about allowing it at the game.
Really? Because of what the rest of the lyrics are, you think people wouldn't want it played at the game. I highly doubt most people care about the rest of the lyrics during the game whether they like the song or not. I'm sure there's a portion of fans that absolutely hate rap and don't like the song, but the rest of the lyrics are irrelevant since they only play the hook.

People that get offended by lyrics in rap music crack me up. The grimy-ness (sex, drugs, gangbanging...hmmm sounds similar to rock and roll minus the gangbanging) is at the core of hip hop culture and without it, rap and hip hop loses its soul. Of course, there is rap and hip hop that veers away from these subjects, but that doesn't change the roots of rap and hip hop. I know rap's not for everyone, but there's no need to get offended by it...just remember how people felt about elvis and rock and roll. Music changes with the times and culture. Being offended by it is a waste of time and energy.

This may be in the wrong place (sorry mods) but here goes:

Here's my suggestion: (Channeling the Jets cheer)
GOOOOOOOOOO (KICK) VOLS! V-O-L-S, GO VOLS GO!

I am a passionate Vols fan living deep in UGA country... I hate the Dawgs, but man when 90,000 people are chanting Go Dawgs at kick-off it really makes the hairs on your neck stand up. Game day at Neyland 110,000 strong is the most incredible experience I have been a part of, and after all the partying, anticipation, and excitement. The crowd comes to a fever pitch right before the ball is kick and every Vols fan joins in with a collective grunt. It's pretty anti-climactic... We can do better VolNation..

Someone with thread creating privileges please repost; lets make it happen!

I've always done the grunt/boom/whoo or whatever I'm in the mood for cause I don't exactly know what it is we all say. But I agree it should be something better than some obscure noise.

1) I love the 90 thousand or so Orange & White clad supporters ( and our magnificent 300 member " Pride of the Southland Marching Band ) and the stupendous cheers we emit to foil the opposition as they try to foil us. I love that and many times I have screamed myself so hoarse I was unable to sing in the choir next morning here in beautiful downtown Bellsburg, ( a suburb of Charlotte, ( Tennessee ).

4) I have been to hundreds of Tennessee games, home & away, and no one has this level of sheer racket. All cheering is NATURAL!
5). I must say the best post was the guy who said: " I can't hear you- what"?
GO VOLS ! Beat Florida. EJB.

Isn't Rocky Top about killing Federal Agents?

Thanks bowlinggreenvol! please repost as a thread (if you can) if you think it's a good idea. I haven't been around long enough... I don't want credit, just a way to get the word out. GO VOLS!

First off, there is no downtown Bellsburg, there is a store and a church. And Charlotte doesn't have suburbs, it's rural farms...
I'm still calling BS
