People like that is what's wrong with today's world. Complete morons.

This might be legit. The woman sitting next to me at the OU game was covering her ears when we were on defense as I was clapping, stomping my feet and yelling every third down. A few years ago, I was told to "sit down" during opposing free throws at a Tennessee basketball game. Some wealthier Vol "fans" seem to confuse collegiate sports with the golf tournaments or strings concerts they normally attend.

Funny thing was, when the woman at the OU game left to go the bathroom her husband joined right in with me in yelling, stomping his feet and pounding on her empty seat! So, even though people like this really do exist, they're probably a very small minority.

I can't stand piped in music either. I totally believe the letter.

The fan is not complaining about naturally occurring crowd noise or noise from the band playing, but music blaring from the stadium speaker system.

If I wanted that, I'd be at an NFL game

Blue hair?

I have to address this.. I'm sure you're a very nice person and a true VFL but the blue hair remark just irks me. Why? My husband and I are over 60, he served in the Marine Corp on an aircraft carrier, worked on the radar on the fighters and the sound very much affected his hearing, plus he is a cancer survivor and had radiation therapy which affected his hearing.. Now I'm not fussing at you, just the blue hair remarks are getting really old. We don't ever miss a home game and he constantly has a ringing in his ears that nothing can be done about but we don't complain, too much about the sound.. it's the music you can't understand, rap stuff.. but some of it is ok.. the gentleman that complained about the sound level, I can't speak for him but if it bothered him that badly then oh well.. and he may be young or whatever age you are.... I just had to say something ....

That's what I'm saying. I expect my ears to ring and voice to be gone after a game. It was that way before piped music. I don't enjoy the music, but I realize no one cares.

not real. or at least i dont believe it was a real complaint.

Knowing our fanbase and where Charlotte, TN is, I have little doubt it's true. I said it before the OU game and I stand by it; we have the largest contingent of b!+<h babies for fans I've ever seen. I have been to college games at 17 on-campus stadiums and numerous bowl sites and consider myself an expert on crowd experience. 👌

The KNS was dumb for publishing the letter. Just wanting attention, which we are giving them.

I have to agree that the "music" is played to loud. (If you can call that music.) I have no problem with the band and the fans being as loud as possible but the "music" is too much and has no affect on the game imo. Playing music would be fine but you dont have to blow the speakers just so you can claim its loud in the stadium. Having said that, I look forward to being at the Arky game and noone will be any louder than I will be. Fact.
