I bet I could sit and scream, and stomp my feet, and do just as good as someone standing
I sit in section O myself and our family has had these seats for 30+ years; however, I have only had one person try and tell me to sit and it was last year and by an Alabama fan of all people. I'm sorry to anyone who sits behind me and can not watch the game clearly sitting down, but with donations and ticket prices I'm going to get every penny I spend for my seats. If you don't like it shut up and go home and watch the game on tv on your ass and quit trying to ruin my day watching the VOLS!
Really, standing up for every play doesn't make much sense, unless the people in front of you are. Of course on big plays in the game, 3rd downs, 4th down, TD attempts, it shouldn't be an issue. Standing up for a 2nd down in Q2 with a 20 pt lead on Buffalo is a little silly, imo.
I would have to disagree. Your sitting or standing during a game has absolutely NO influence on the game. All it does is make a whole section of people want to take you behind the woodshed.
I can agree with that. However, I don't need to stand to be rowdy. Don't get me wrong, I do my fair share of standing and yelling. I just don't feel the need to stand the entire game. I can clap and scream as easily sitting down as I can standing. Maybe some people aren't as gifted as me in that department, who knows?:loco:
I have never heard a recruit say wow that stadium was really quiet, I could read a book and be at peace on the side line during a huge game if I come here! Having a great crowd impresses the visitors we have and shows our passion!
As for affect on the game, come on, having a loud a rowdy crowd makes a huge difference to the other team communicating on the field and has to give our D a boost!
GO VOLS!
Let me guess, you stand the whole time don't you?
Who doesn't? However, when you're up 4 TD's on a team like Buffalo, you can probably take a little break from being obnoxious.
