We’ve been going in circles on this - I don’t think you have to go into the weeds and get specific information, at least not until everyone else is required to do the same. But you can give audit information to such a degree that it doesn’t betray “competitive advantage” but also gives enough information to allay concerns with management or financial stewardship. You see it happen with companies all the time - hell I see it with SOC2 and SOX reports from organizations we do business with all the time. They dont give away the farm, but they give enough information, backed up by a reputable third party, to give everyone enough assurance that everything is above board.Defensive? How so?
What do you want exact figures on what athlete gets what? How much is spent on which programs?
The AD gets all that information and also audits Spyre. You want that to be public info where other teams know exactly how much money Tennessee has to utilize?
May be necessary. I’m sure to this point the AD auditing them was thought to be sufficient. I wonder if these collectives thought they would be this big this fast when everything started. We’ve been going in circles on this - I don’t think you have to go into the weeds and get specific information, at least not until everyone else is required to do the same. You mean like this….Not saying I believe it all. Some things make you think where there is smoke there is fire though.
If not true, stuff like that shouldn’t be banned but local media and the program itself could do a lot more to dispel rumors.
I feel like Spyre has always needed something more in the way of an official endorsement from the program. QR codes on the walls on Neyland saying help with NIL, etc. You can’t blame casual fan for being leery without some more official promotion.
That isn’t always true either… there are 5 stars as well who are not simply motivated by dollar signs. Culture, potential teammates, scheme, location, are also factors, along with several others each is weighted differently from person to person. There are some who would take a a family oriented culture over an extra buck some place w/ a toxic culture. Money doesn’t equal happiness for everyone. Those are the 3 star and less ranked players
No they really don't matter. Only thing that matters is NIL $$$. If message boards scare a recruit away, then he was too soft to begin withRecruiting Forum regular and known insider @KingVFL is on record stating that the Spyre BS started by S.Sparks and spread by others on this very board is already being used against us by other teams. So, yes, things like that do matter.
Be part of the problem or be a part of the solution.
Wrong actually. You pay more for your cable for 4 months than a pair of shoes. If you're blaming fans, then you are the real problem.Yeah, my contributions are the equivalent of a pair of shoes for the running back. So if it weren’t for me, Samson would be running around barefoot. Go me! And, I’ll bitch if I want to.

Bump. OSU is on a roll. Which will prove that rankings will get you to the CFP but will not win the games. Talent is there and came together at the right time.Fan negativity really played little in it period. This was a locker room and team leadership fix. Losing to Michigan was just a backdrop. OSU beats Oregon by 14+ tomorrow and I think will win it all.
Which will just confirm you can buy a team.
