That housing is not "out of the ordinary" for young working individuals and couples in Boston. Young persons that work and go to school in Boston want to live in Boston. Rent is steep in Boston (we pay over $1,500 for a two bedroom). A lot of individuals live in units like theirs, especially those individuals that choose to live in Cambridge, because there is so much going on in Cambridge (The People's Republic of Cambridge, to be exact).

Quite possible that they were locked behind a door and she did not have a key to that door.

"Tamerlan would honk his car horn as a hello when driving on the street. Although the older brother was married with a child, there was never any sign of his family at the apartment."

Maybe she did not live with them?

The suspects two sisters were in arranged marriages. Apparently one of the husbands ran off back to Russia with his child, and the mother got someone to get the child back. Then they got divorced against the mothers religious wishes. Strange family. And ironically the same store that the mother of the suspects got busted for shoplifting over $1,500 worth of clothes was the same one that videotaped her two sons at the bombing.

From what I've read, the wife and child lived with the mother before the mother went back to Russia. The older brother could have been splitting time between that apartment and the younger brother's apartment. No article has put the pieces together properly. I'm guessing that the work was done at the younger brother's place. It's difficult to believe that all that hardware was where the wife was living without her knowing or that the older brother would trust her with that knowledge. He was probably using her money for everything, so she could be in deep kimchi.

It is true that many Muslim families in the U.S. arrange marriages for their children. Being that the family of suspect 1's wife was upper middle class American and not Muslim, I doubt that the marriage was approved, much less arranged.

No, it was not arraigned or at least I heard she met him at school & fell in love & he converted her to Islam after the marriage. I think her mom & dad did not approve of him either because of his background.

It is reported that suspect 1 stayed home with the baby while his American wife worked 80 hours a week. What kind of ho would marry that abusive, messed up excuse for a man?

The mother claims that she decided to become a true Muslim and then talked suspect 1 into becoming a true Muslim. WTF kind of people are they?
