It actually made the score 28-20, then UT forced a punt, and then Ainge/Foster coughed it up.

The first is being discussed at every SEC School out there except for maybe Florida and Bama. After the season you look at how the coaching staff did, its what you do.

Also, when you lose a senior QB and there are two candidates that could fit the bill, talk builds up about this as well.
Both of these are on most if not all fan's minds. If they arent on yours then the Tennessee Vols forum isnt exactly your place.

As mentioned before, it made the game 28-20 in the 3rd qtr. IIRC, UF also punted on their next possession. Maybe meaningless in the long run but it was huge at the time

Just enjoying the banter about the Berry pick in the UF game. No offense intended, but it is problematic I think when out of the entire game there is exactly one play that anyone wants to remember. :crazy:

Don't start bustin my orange's I'm as much of a fan as anyone. And sure those are interesting topics buy I've read what everyone has said and it's still just opinions. Just like my thread. OK I think Cropmton's way better that Coleman. He's a RS JR, tough guy, been in the system a while, and has played in a couple of big games and I don't see a RS Freshman outplaying him. Sound Familiar. Hope that did it for you!

It was a huge play at the time by a true freshman in his first SEC game. Why is it so hard to understand?

If you are a Vol fan and watched the game there is no way you thought it was meaningless. Your post of the approximate score was even funnier since it was dismissed earlier in the thread.

You misunderstood me. I said at the time and say again that the kid is amazing and is destined to be really good (already there, really). I wish he played for the Gators.

I was just remarking that this is a thread about the paucity of UT plas on ESPN highlight realls and so it seemed relevant to me that folks were grinding on the one play in the Gator game.

I wasn't instigating, honest.

All the time I have been a Die-Hard Vol Fan...
Florida Vs. Tennessee is a huge game for me becuase of the crap I catch every year from gator fans...
Imagine what i've heard since the won the NC leading up to this game...
The way we played that game.. Was Horrible..

It was an embarrasment... I still catch crap about it everyday...

The One Play.. though good... was meaningless...
want me to say it again... meaningless.....

I Bleed Orange and I will stand up for them till the end..

maybe you should read what I wrote a bit more carefully. My point was that NO Vol fan found it meaningless at the time. You may look at it that way 3 months later but not in that moment.

If you catch crap every day wouldn't you know the score at that time? :whistling:

:popcorn: i saw the highlight video, and thought it was really good. i didnt take it as personal as TennT but i would have like to seen a couple more clips in our favor. i dont think they showed our overtime stop of Woodson or Martins blocked punt. i dont know if TennT really deserved to be stoned for stating his opinion, but he maybe should not have worded it like it was a big catastrophe.

ABC/ESPN has long hated UT---they suck up to the Big 10, Big 12--their favored conferences.
