You have proven that you care more about the firing than getting the best coach.

That is how we got here.

It is preferred that you have some general knowledge of the process before condemning it and those that are administering it. Otherwise, you make statements that are unrelated and unrealistic.

Imagine highest card wins..we had a 2 w Dooley and a 4 or a 5 w butch..fans realize that as a historical top 10-12 program we should keep shuffling until we get a face card.Is it a crapshoot? Of course..saban only came because rich Rodriguez turned down the job. We could do worse but our overall history and the history of other programs like ours says that it is more likely we will do better.

Happened at okla USC bama Fla etc

If there are 100000 in the seats this week and for the LSU game and Butch manages to win 6 games then Butch will be our coach next year. Thats what the AD is waiting on . If people are still going to show up then why change coaches and spend money. ITS A BUSINESS. They don't care if we win its about money . The only reason wins play in this at all is if people don't show up when we lose .

Currie could and should have stopped all of this after the Alabama game.

There was zero reason to keep Butch after that game if you planned on firing him.

With this Currie could loose his job too.

Yes, you'd hope the players would realize who it's aimed at. But still.

We're to fixated on this one means of protest. There are other actions. Line up outside Neyland with picket signs. Hell, take the risk of getting arrested. Our players put themselves in harms' way. How 'bout us as well!

One of my kids played college sports. I know what it means to players to have fans show up.

Fight the terrible coach and coaching decisions. Show up for the team.

#EmptyNeyland isn't the only tactic that can be used.

Edit to add: I get the emotions, and I understand the feeling of getting our voices heard. I just don't (yet) believe that this is the way to do it.

--will pictures of empty seats send the message we want to send? Or just send the message that we're a bunch of whiny-asses? You can get surprised at how other people perceive your actions.

I seriously believe the protest will be over very soon.

This story getting Yahoo is very, very bad for both Currie & Butch.

Someone if not both should be gone by this weekend.

That's not a hopeful guess but a reality on this story and the pile on that's about to happen.
Hitting yahoo it's about to get ugly. And guessing by the VFL coordinator quitting due to harassment.

My $$$ is Butch is about to be out really quick.

Hate Currie didn't do what needed to be done after Alabama

wrong, it shows this fanbase actually DOES have a breaking point, and it will affect their thinking when it comes to hiring the next coach when they see we're not ALL sheep and have ZERO problem organizing and protesting this slop they keep feeding us

the players deserve a better coach, think of the fringe NFL players that wont get a chance to be millionaires bc they didnt receive competent coaching? dont THEY deserve better? and if the decision has already been made, then hed be fired and the boycott would be called off...seems grossly ignorant that theyd decide to fire him without actually firing him
