Go buy some UGA gear where you feel like your $$ is well invested then like jakez4ut said. If you can't be there for the rough times then you can't come back for the good times.

That is fine because you have put it out there that this will happen if he is still here, but to want to do it more than half way through the season with a recruiting class that is already crumbling is the dumbest thing I have seen.

These young men that are playing on that field have done nothing to deserve this. There are some out there that only have a handful of football games left in Neyland, but also a handful left that they will ever play again.

I want CBJ gone just as bad as the rest of you, but this campaign is going to do nothing but hurt our program even more.

Just absurd..no coach worth a damn is going to be thinking about "what might happen as Tennessee head coach if I am winless in the sec in november in yr 5". That is how a loser thinks.

The attitude on this board is no different from the decidedly NOT catastrophic attitudes of oklahoma fans in the decade before stoops and bama fans in the decade that preceded saban. They quit settling for mediocrity and demanded a coach who lived up to the potential and history of the program. They seem to be just fine.

they didn't, but to be fair, twitter wasn't a thing when they hired saban at bama.

but to your point, bama gets 90,000 for a spring game to show support.

we start twitter hissy fits to not go to regular season games to show ours.

there's a difference. and don't think it's not noticed outside of knoxville.

I seriously think the AD department is planting trolls around here to try to shut down #EmptyNeyland. They are alternating ridicule and fear in a hope that one or the other will stick. Really pitifully weak and transparent.

I bet #emptyneyland wouldn't be a thing if the game this weekend was against a conference team and it wasn't a November night game.
There are a lot of folks talking tough on here when I doubt they'd have the same conviction for an afternoon game.
I'm fine with it, though. I just found $6 tix on stubhub, so I'll be there with the whole fam! Makes it easier to justify buying a ticket for my 6 y/o who really just comes for the extra salty popcorn and the pom-poms.

yup...you think nick saban gave a damn about how harshly shula(26-23 from 03-06) was treated at the end? Good lord the idea that champion coaches think like that is just monumental stupidity, ignorance, or both.

i'd say there's probably a fair portion of these folks that weren't going to the game anyway, and don't even have tickets.

You do realize this is a state university first (ie UNIVERSITY of Tennessee) right? There are 26,000? Students that are not necessarily fans of any sport that would be adversely affected by this type of lunacy. Grow up and be real. This entire movement is result of irrational minds that don’t have a solid grip on reality. There’s a tremendous amount more to life than Football. And this comes from someone that bleeds Orange 30+ years after attending in the 80’s.
