Empty Neyland Movement (#uncluttervolnation)

Ugh.
0-5 in the SEC because of Butch Jones as a coach is HURTING the players and fans of the program.

The TEAM needs the fans help.

It shows EVERYONE recruits and a future coach the fans SUPPORT THE PLAYERS & COACHES

NOT A LOYALTY TO THE UNIVERSITY'S BOTTOM DOLLAR

Boycotting is one way to send a message to the Administration.

Boycotting is not designed to show support to the players and future coaches.

It's shows them if they lose enough we will turn our back on you as well.

#emptyneyland

Or go and wear black

Or do neither but don't complain about the performance of the team.

That would be like complaining about a cavity then eating a pound of taffy.

The bucket of lightbulbs a classic, obscure Volnation reference.

everyone dress up as bleachers that way the stadium will look empty but it really won't be.

What a great idea.

I wish I could remember when that all started. That post had to have been close to 10 years ago.

He’s the one who posted it originally. I think it was after Dooley’s crushing defeat to LSU. There were so many agonizing Dooley losses I can’t remember exactly which one was the one where he kicked the bucket of lightbulbs. Who keeps light bulbs in a bucket?

People with small hands and arms do. No other choice. 😂😂

How about everyone just realize that Butch is done, he’s gone, he’s dead man walking, he ain’t coming back for 2018...and we just put our best foot forward....... go to the game if you have tickets and want to go and cheer for the boys who are doing the best they can in a very bad situation?

How about we just show the University of Tennessee and our football program in the best light possible despite a bad situation with a lame duck coach?

If you don’t wanna go to the game then don’t go. If you don’t wanna watch the game then don’t watch. Nobody should be preached to or castigated for what they decide for themselves....you do you.

But how about we stop with all the boycott talk, the talk about burning your tickets on Instagram or Twitter and for crying out loud, let’s dispense with the idea of kicking a bucket of lightbulbs on the field?

How is any of that helping us attract the next head coach or the next crop of players that we need to get this thing turned around and become a championship program again?

Championship coaches understand what's expected.

Man the university has some of you so scared of being proud and demanding better.

I read your post...i just can't figure out why you think the two are not mutually exclusive.

I presented it as a possibility. Not fact in any way.

Lets try it this way.

IF JG (IF) he said wants the job, but doesn't want Jones fired midseason and or him named HC til after the season is over, do you buck that request for a #movement and take the chance on running him off?

Im not saying thats whats going on but firing Jones is the easy part. Landing the big fish you need may not happening that easy or quick, but that is Currie's legacy here now. Not how quick in the season did he fire a failing coach.

Amen. UT would like you to think that Butch is doing a noble thing running this football program, and we should just be thankful, shut up, and eat the excrement sandwich every week.

You re not winning any championships tomorrow, next week, or next month.

You can demand better until you re orange in the face. The earliest your gonna have a chance at this 2018.

So yea here is some proof......

Chattanooga free press just now.

Currie wants to keep Butch Jones at 7-5

So all these thoughts and hopes on what Currie is thinking. Here you go...

EMPTY NEYLAND!

So...let me get this straight. The case you are making is based on some fantasy scenario created in your mind, without a hint of evidence? :eek:k:
