Just have to assume / be comfortable knowing Coach Jones and John Currie have thoroughly weighed this option, and they're very comfortable with the possibility.

The tarnishing of the brand is more by how a program and it's fans go about their business. Most mature and rational adults understand that organizations go though good and bad times even when trying to stay on top at all times. The losers and those that don't contribute to success are those that show their true nature when times are not the best.

I have a belief that the program will improve but little hope that your character will.

Keep trying to bash if it makes you feel stronger.

It is so sad to hear all of these folks whining that no one cares about them. They are being taken advantage of. No one hears them. They must unite in order to feel powerful.

I understand completely. I only make one or two games a year and they are planned out well in advance.

For those of you that will go to the game. WEAR BLACK. You can still support the payers, go to the Vol Walk, and yell the whole game to support the players. A stadium 3/4 full and those in attendance wearing black would be an emphatic message.

Why exactly? Why should i be happy with the product on the field? We are irrelevant on a national stage. And have been for a while. And appear to be doing nothing to improve our situation.

we have championships) but right now we have a solid chance to finish last in the SEC. It is clearly evident that we need to change what we are doing

I am not bashing anyone. Butch Jones did his best but the job is too big for him. The AD has been making bad decisions for years. (my evidence: we suck). Thats not bashing, those are just facts

Im afraid thats going to be the case unfortunately. Because the powers that be have created such a toxic situation at a once proud program cant even hire a 2nd rate coach anymore. But thats not my fault, so theres no need to be snide about it

What move exactly has shown to you that we are "trying to stay on top at all times?" Was it the hiring of the coach with the losing record at LA Tech? The inability to secure a top candidate in 2012 and settling for our 14th choice? Having our rivals win national championships and building powerhouses (UGA is about to dominate us for the foreseeable future and they are doing it with a 2nd year coach) while we sit around and are told to be happy about back to back 9 win seasons in which we lost to every decent team we played and didnt even win our division?

I have no problem with feeling good about myself. None at all. I am an average guy that makes mistakes and hopefully learns from them.

It is sad to see so many like you are are envious and angry at someone that can actually feel good about themselves even with mistakes.

Your need to use that cliche says it all.

You try so hard to make everything about you and the effect this program is having on you.

And you can feel offended, but I don't put enough validity in your opinion or weak attempts to give you a better response. I just don't care to argue with kids.

This food analogy everyone is trying to make is BS.
If I don't like the food I go somewhere else and eat. I'm not a fan of food, I go to the best food. So, are you saying if the sports team don't perform the way you like you just move on to the next one?

Sports are entertainment, you either pick a team to be a fan of win or lose, or always go with the winning team. Think of it this way, gambling is entertainment, you go into it hoping to win but you will not always do that. Some years you have a good year and you win more than you lose, some years are bad and you lose all your money. If you do not feel entertained anymore you quit.
