My wife just surprised me with tickets to the game this weekend. I might not be happy with Butch right now but i will never turn down a chance to see the VOLS!

No part and nope not linked to CBJ. But smart guy tell me where I'm wrong. In all actuality, they shouldn't give two ****s about what the fans want. The team is there for the University, for the student-athletes not you, me or anyone else.

We all know that the program wouldn't exist as it does today if it were not for the fans etc. and blah, blah, blah. It's not for us it's for the students. Period, plain and simple. You can *****, moan and groan about how you're not being satisfied so on and so forth but it don't matter because you, me and the rest of us don't matter.

Lol..then go spend your money. I want better for the players and the program. Some people are just ok being mediocre I guess. If they weren't, Vandy wouldn't haha a team.

Are you currently a student? Are you going to the game? If the answer to my first question is no, the answer to my second question should also be no. Why are you going to watch an event that's not for you? Only the student athletes should stand on the sidelines and cheer for themselves using your logic.

Well, I don't know maybe being an alum might give me a good reason. The point is that the football program only exists because of the student-athlete and the student body. We could all stop going to the games tomorrow and it would still exist. In what capacity is altogether a different story, but it would still exist. It's really not all that hard to understand.

If it would still exist without the fans there shouldn't be any problem if said fans don't show up on Saturday. I'm not trying to start an argument with you, I just think the fans have the right to voice their displeasure by not going.

No one is forcing anyone to go. You have every right as a fan to voice your opinion, but to try and organize a movement that will do more harm to our players than it ever will to CBJ, Currie or any part of the UTAD is wrong. Somehow we fans have formed this misguided idea that the administration has an obligation to the fan base, it doesn't. The obligation is to the University.

I will not be there. This is not about players and all about coaches... pretty obvious to me. They can see right through Jones if he tells them otherwise.

Agree to disagree, I don't have a problem with the movement. If you or anyone else does I don't have a problem with that either. We all want better for the program just have different opinions on how change takes place.

This is true, but the seats should be filled. The answer is concessions and souvenirs. Those should be demonstrated against. Let it be known to all the the only money spent will be on seats.

That will change some attitudes.

The seats are filled for the players. The other stuff is money in big wig pockets.
