Yes you cannot undue giving them money, but just humor me here imagine UT vs LSU on national TV with the stadium half empty or more. What a black eye for the university. That would be embarassing on epic proportions. Im 99.9 percent confident that will get some attention. Donors, the AD, the president or the chancelor. That will put alot of pressure on Currie.

Take the boycott to another level. Do not post on any message boards until they fire Butch. Show your opposition to the program by your silence. I think that would be the best thing many of you could do for the program!!:shades:

If you have tickets show up. This Saturday will be my kids first experience of a UT game. I have told them stories of how loud it is. Dress in all black or wear your fire Butch shirt. The players deserve it at least

Definition of Sheep: fans loyal to the program and school.Fans with the time and money to enjoy a UT event even during bad times.
Definition of Shepards: those who probably rarely or ever go to a game but like to tell others what a ‘true fan ‘ is.
I survived the early years of Majors as a young fan and I will survive this down time as a much older fan. GBO

Homecoming is an awesome event to attend.

It could end up being a competative game. That's kind of a bummer, considering the amount if money we paid SM to take a beating. I bet we get their A game. Those poor soles think they have a real shot at winning. They are no Ky.

Beat the Gokden Eagles!

Why the hell you want to embarrass Tennessee like that. And we all know butch is gone, why hit the checkbook when we know we’re going to have to pay a buyout and for a huge new contract, just cause you were impatient?

Im boycotting boycotting!!!! I mean every person in society now is boycotting something..... it’s the new bellbottoms and long hair.... in fact I was in a restaurant the other day and overheard in the booth next to me one guy asked the other one “hey man what are you boycotting this week”... his reply ...” not for sure I have two or three things I’m thinking about boycotting but I’m probably going with the discrimination in the word BOY-cotting”!!!!

After the Georgia game, Basilio said one family was making the decision on sgt cater, not Currie. Remember how many people wanted Blackburn for the AD but the administration went with Currie. I was told that family wanted Currie for the job. The administration listens to the big donors first then maybe the fans. Somehow the fans have to get the administration's attention and the boycott seems to be the best option. Several other SEC schools will be looking for a new coach at the end of the season so we need to fire carter and start our search now.

Can we stop long enough to learn a lesson from all the NFL players who kneel during the national anthem to symbolically express their opinions? Who have their symbolic actions helped--and who all have they hurt?

Yeah. Let's tell Currie what we think--NOT by writing him a letter telling him exactly what we think and why, but--by doing something big, clumsy and symbolic that also screws all the innocent people who make their living from the home games!

I get coming on VolNation to harmlessly blow off steam. But messing with other people's lives isn't harmless. We talk about firing CBJ now so we don't lose recruits. Yet we somehow can't connect witholding our support for the players already wearing orange & white as being detrimental to recruiting.
