I think this as well. However, I think that NCST has the personnel and the coaching to beat UConn if they play well. That and the Texas/Stanford games were the only E8 matches that I thought would be competitive.Final 4. Louisville, UConn, Stanford, SCar.
Finals. SCar over Stanford.
Saw an interesting stat during one of the games yesterday concerning the elite 8. Of the 8 tallest teams in the tournament (I think they were referring to starting lineups.), 4 of them were still playing in the tournament. I believe SCar and Stanford are 2 of the taller teams. It caught my eye because I generally focus on the quickness of the guard play.
Throw my 2 cents in as well to make it 4 because I definitely agree!I think this as well. However, I think that NCST has the personnel and the coaching to beat UConn if they play well. That and the Texas/Stanford games were the only E8 matches that I thought would be competitive.
Just my 2 cents, but I think height is overrated outside of your frontcourt.
I've posted this already but I want UCONN vs Stanford in the final 4
I think the buck stops tonight with NC State. The impressive streak of FFs for UCONN ends. Not me. I don't want Connecticut to go any further. Ever.
That said, months ago I predicted they'd be back in the Final Four and could even win the championship if Bueckers got back at least a couple of weeks before the tourney. I got a bit of a skewering for saying that, with many here insisting, "They're not any good this year! They have no chemistry and will exit the tournament early!"
Well, here we are, at the brink of me being proved right. I do NOT want to be right.

For some reason I have a feeling NC State pulls it off this year! Luckily we wonāt have to worry about this next year and hopefully going forward.I sure hope so! But NCSt sure got a raw deal as the one seed having to play in an arena packed with Husky fans who've already shown how much life they give the Connecticut players when they need that boost. No way should the 2-seed have that home-game advantage, but it is what it is -- again.
This is a big reason I give Connecticut the advantage tonight.
I think it was 2 seasons ago, when Lou Brown was on the team. Yeah, they were tall, but they sure couldn't score very effectively.Throw my 2 cents in as well to make it 4 because I definitely agree!
I think it was last year or the year before where it seemed as if whatever channel we were playing on couldnāt wait to run the āTallest team in the countryā package for our team!Didnāt get us no where!
