Maybe tennis is your answer then. There are several leagues around town, and they can be VERY competitive. Fort Sanders also has "cardio tennis" classes, and they will kick your A.I guess I just miss doing competitive things and golf just isn't cutting it for me. I crave something more exciting.
This was me. I logged everything for 1.5 years and then tried it on my own to see if I could maintain without logging. I've been successful ever since. The logging really helped me visually see what portion sizes should be and how much to eat in a day.I did a few years back. Now I kinda have a feel for it so no need for journaling
I got a food grade scale and that really opened my eyes to portion size and stuff. Its wildThis was me. I still weigh some stuff - I make overnight oats every night, so I weigh out everything I put in there since I add different seeds, protein, and nut butter.
This is awesome. Where I live there is no way kids could ride their bikes to school. Too many people not paying attentionBike ride: 21.45 miles, 1184’ elevation gain, 1:53 riding time.
Started out this morning riding sweep for a “bike bus” of elementary school kids, then took off to ride a few miles at a training pace. A “bike bus” is a group of kids that gather to ride to school in an organized group. One meets at an intersection with my street. Three parents accompanied this group, and one asked me to ride sweep today, and offer some pointers.
I worry about this. An adult or two are always in the rear. Morbidly, I assume the role isn’t just to watch over those at the back of the group, but also to absorb the first hit by a motor vehicle. This is awesome. We don't have enough bike lanes in my area of town to be able to do it safely. There are plenty of places to ride but just not in my area of town.I worry about this.
