E.P.A. Chief Scott Pruitt (a.k.a. The Swamp Thing)

Pruitt had a subordinate at the EPA basically tasked with being a head-hunter for his wife. Just in case that Chik-fil-a franchise fell through, I guess? Why did he need his wife to have a job so desperately? It looks like she hadn't been employed full time since 1996 and her skill set is that of a nurse. Very strange.

Don’t believe everything you read especially from the compost

Pretty sad that Repubs on this board won't call for Pruitt's resignation. Pretty obvious he's as corrupt and swampy as anyone in the Cabinet. The embodiment of Tribalism.

When Trump inevitably gets rid of him (safe assumption with the current rate of turnover) they will say that it was the right decision all along.

Laura Ingraham calling for his removal.

That’s how bad he’s been.

It's ridiculous. Trump's agenda is obviously to gut the EPA. Couldn't just about any D.C. bureaucrat accomplish that who isn't making a fool of himself on a weekly basis with stories of used mattresses, skin moisturizer and Chik-fil-a?

Federal EPA didn’t clean up that river.

Every state has an environmental agency so your argument is beyond ludicrous.

Rivers always seem to forget to stop at state lines. Federal oversight was necessary. Air has that same pesky characteristic, no respect for borders.

You know what the federal EPA does in these instances? They go to court and have a judge decide. So yours is another ignorance of the subject argument.

I guess if we were to get rid of the Federal EPA the federal courts would be gone to?

They regulate what can be put into air and water, do they not?
